*Kylie's POV*
I never expected it. Ruffcut was suppose to be dead, not living.
'What does Rob say? Aster?' I think as he circles me and Selena, back-to-back. Both of us were tied to chairs but I still had my goggles on. Nobody went near me, I was too unpredictable cause of my feelings at this moment. I wanted to get Ruffcut for this and hurting Selena, but I couldn't. Ruffcut kept saying they had a surprise for me, but didn't tell me who 'they' were and Selena kept saying that if anybody hurt me she would kill them. I was honestly touched but when I heard and saw the car pull up, I tried to shrink away.
'They should be in jail! Not here, please not here!!!!!' I thought desperately as tears stung my eyes. Mary and Mark were suppose to be in jail and I wanted so much that I could reverse time and not go to them in jail.
Mary walked up to me and grabbed me by my hair, putting a knife to my throat saying "We're back!"
I visibly gulped and Selena hissed "Don't you touch her!! Don't you DARE touch her after what you did!!!!" Her words were filled with venom and I swear the temperature in the room dropped.
"Whatever. We will be taking her now and here is the money Ruffcut." Mark said, giving a load of money to Ruffcut and taking me away. The last thing I saw was a familiar shadow drop to the warehouse before everything went black.
*Robin's POV*
I hurried to the warehouse, hoping i wasn't to late. I got there just as Kylie got knocked out and taken away into a black car.
'I have to get Catwoman, maybe she could help in finding Kylie' I thought as I dropped down and easily defeated Ruffcut.
"Selena! Who were those people? and why did they want Kylie??" I said as I cut her free. She fell into my arms, barely breathing and I wondered what was going on. Until I saw the blood, the huge pool of blood coming from a gash in her leg. I patched her up and called Batman to come pick her up and within seconds he was there.
"Ro-Robin, please get Kylie for me? Please?" Selena coughed before she left with Batman. I nodded yes and called Wally.
"Hey Rob! What's up?" He said, eating something.
"Hey Wally, can you call the team and tell them to meet at Gotham Docks. I need their help finding Shadow, she got kidnapped." I said, pacing the warehouse.
"Ok dude. We'll be their in a few." Wally said then hung up. I knew he would call everybody but even with superspeed it could take to long. I grabbed my phone and dialed Artemis' number.
"Hello, Artemis speaking." She said dully and I laughed.
"Damn you Robin! How do you know my number!?!?!? Anyway, what do you need?" Artemis yelled into the phone angrily.
I laughed again and said "Shadow got kidnapped and I need your guys help. Gotham docks." I heard Artemis hang up and I wondered if she was coming.
"I really hate you sometimes!" Artemis said as she playfully punched my arm. I laughed and rolled my eyes as the team got here. "Do you have any idea where they went?" M'gann said, after giving me a hug. She looked really worried about me or Shadow. Maybe both? I got zero clue.
"The car is or was owned by Mary and Mark Doglas. They sold it a month ago but stole it back." Artemis said, hands on her hips as she told us all the information we needed, for now anyway. Everybody was surprised and I just laughed at their faces. Artemis smirked and laughed with me and I remembered she knew how it felt when you super powered friends didn't know something you did.
"Let us hurry and find them. If I remember correctly, there was a report about them on the new on how they killed that girl. I am guessing the girl is Shadow." Aqualad said, giving me a look. I nodded yes and looked up the address as Conner and Wally looked at the tracks, Artemis and M'gann surveyed the area and Kaldur looked in the water for anything suspicious. I got the address and everything and we all left in the bio-ship.
'Please Kylie, be ok.' I thought as we zoomed to the outskirts of Gotham.
