*Kylie's P.O.V.*
'Well, this is weird' I thought, looking at the boy next to me. This Robin was very nice, and he was funny. I kept looking at him with the corner of my eye.
Robin finally saw and said "What? Do I have something on my face?" He started wiping his face and I blushed.
'What?! Why am I blushing? Kylie Morgana Davis/Kyle does NOT blush!' I thought, getting a little angry when a report came on.
"Oh my god." I said, bringing my hand to my mouth. It was my mother on the T.V, talking with the news lady, Mrs. Hinges.
"I can't believe my sister lost my only child when she was six. Mary, you are a terrible sister. I hope you rot in prison with your bastard of a husband!" My mother said, before she broke into sobs.
"Oh my god. I can't believe this." I said, getting up.
"What? Do you know those people?" Robin asked, putting a hand on my arm, making me shiver. "I gotta go." I blurted, Running to my room and putting my outfit on. When I came back, Robin was ready.
"Woah" we both said at the same time.
"Your not coming." I said, grabbing my whip.
He looked taken back but then said, "Uh, yes I am. Don't even try to loose me." I shrugged and made my way up the chimney, the boy wonder following behind me. I finally got out and helped Robin out.
"Where are we going?" He asked, looking around.
I smiled and said, "Oh, we're going to jail." He looked at me with dinner plate eyes. I smirked and made my way to the jail, not even slowing my pace when I came up on a busy intersection. I used my whip to swing across. I landed like a cat, on all fours. I grinned and finally let the boy wonder catch up.
"Slow much? You need to work out more." I said, smirking and put my hands on my hips when he finally caught up. He was doubled over, catching his breath.
"H-how d-do y-y-you move that f-fast? M-my b-b-best friend i-is that fast." He said, stuttering a lot. I snorted and said, "Who? Flash Jr.?" He finally got up and glared at me.
"His name is Kid Flash." He said, poking me in the shoulder.
"Whatever, bird boy. Listen, I'm going in there. You can come if you want or not come. I don't care, just stay out of my way. I got important business to deal with. And whatever you hear, ask me about it later. This is important for me. And after this I gotta do a few more things. Don't get in my way, or you WILL regret it. Got it?" I said, Poking him in the chest with my index finger. The claws were on and he looked scared out of his wits.
I went to the front desk and said sweetly, "Hello. I would like to request an meeting with Mary and Mark Doglas." I said, giving her a sweet smile, my goggles were on my eyes as usual whenever I'm in public so nobody can see my eye color.
"Ok, room Z32 is open. Go on in, I'll send them in." The lady behind the desk said.
Robin walked in and took my hand in his. I raised an eyebrow, giving him a look that said, 'Well, are you pretending? Cause if your not, your not going to like who your liking.' He just smiled and we walked to the room. They weren't there yet, so I could finally talk.
"What was that?!" I said, throwing my hands into the air.
"Don't worry. It was just a joke, they wouldn't have let you in other wise. Chill will ya?" He said. Part of me was so happy it was fake but another part of me wanted it to be real.
"Oh, ok." I said, trying to keep the sadness out of my voice. It didn't work. He looked at my with wide eyes but before he could say anything, Mark and Mary finally came in.
"Do you want us to stay, Miss?" A guard asked gruffly.
"No, if anything happens I can take care of myself. Thanks though." I said, smiling at him. Once he left, I smacked Mary and Mark across the face.
"Now. We don't even know you and you do that to us?" Mary said, putting on a sickly sweet accent that i wanted to throw up.
"Oh, don't be so innocent, Mary. Or should I say 'Aunt' Mary." I said, putting finger quotes around Aunt.
She gasped and said "It's you." She sounded happy and sad at the same time. "Mark! It's Kylie." She said, looking at her husband. I looked at him to.
Mark looked at me and said "Yeah right. This chick is pulling your leg, Mary. Kylie is dead and you know it. Stop acting like it's not true. Don't b-"
He didn't finish before I said, "Oh, Uncle. That is so hurtful to me. The again, you have said worse. Wow." Mark looked at me with wide eyes and I smiled, he looked scared out of his wits.
"Ok, how about this. You step out of line................................Your Dead! Have a nice life." I said adding venom to every word, then called the guards.
"I'm done. Got what I need. Thank you." I said, pushing the venom out of my voice. They nodded gruffly and pulled the two out of the room. I had to leave, now. Of course, boy wonder was there and he heard everything. He proved he was Batman's protégé when we got outside.
"Wait! Your telling me your the suppose dead girl!?!?!?!?! How come you didn't tell me??? I have to take you in!!!!!" He asked, hurt and sadness in his voice along with a little anger. I winced at the way it sounded, and it sounded like I just lied to a 3 year old.
"I couldn't, I had to keep it a secret. I'm sorry. And don't try to take me in!" I said, angry with myself that I lied to a boy I liked and that I sounded so vulnerable and angry. I turned around and went home, not caring if he followed me or not. Once I was home, I found out he didn't follow me. I went to my room and in the 16 years I have lived, I finally cried.
*Robin's P.O.V.*
I just found out the girl I like was the missing dead girl.
'Wow, not aster.' I thought. I didn't follow her home, but I did check in on her and what I saw almost made me loose my grip on the ledge. She was face first on her bed, crying. She was still in her outfit, but she was crying and kept wiping tears, putting scratch marks on her cheeks and all over her face.
'What. Did. I. Just. Do.' I thought and apparently I must have said it, cause her head jerked up and she looked towards the door and then the window. By the time she looked to the window i was gone. I didn't go home I just went to the library and did none stop research all night. By the time i got home, it was 3:00 am.
'Thank god it's vacation.' I thought as I drifted to sleep. More like nightmare land, by the way I could only dream of the news reports being real. Not fun.
