Jeremy was surprised by how many articles were written about HIS attack and not the others. 'I guess I really am a big deal' he thought. He had been looking at the articles for 3 hours now, without any breaks, so he quickly checked his emails. The latest one was from someone who called himself jeremykylefan81442@gmail.com.
He opened the e-mail.
There was no writing inside. Just a video. He scrolled over the 'play' button and clicked it. There was a black screen for around 3 seconds, and then someone walked in front of the camera. It was 'The Chicken'. He simply said 6 words. "You will never kill me, Jeremy." The voice had been edited so it sounded really deep and as soon as he said that, the video stopped.
Jeremy continued looking at the screen blankly, not knowing what to do. Then he heard the front door of the house opening. Jeremy closed the tab and opened another article, pretending to read. The door to his room suddenly opened. It was Diana.
"Hey, I just got back from shopping. Is Dylan still not home?" Jeremy was looking at her for a couple of second, and then shook his head. "No, don't think so..." She left the room, closing the door behind her.
-At the same time, a couple of blocks away-
They shook hands, secretly replacing a small bag of cocaine and some money. "Cheers mate" the drug dealer said, as he walked away. Dylan got in his car, which was waiting just beside where he had bought the drugs and drove to an empty car park. He put on a pair of gloves, knowing that if someone got a hold of it, they might scan the bag for fingerprints. He took out the bag. Dylan sniffed the substance from inside and threw the empty bag through the window when he was done.
He sat in the car, not doing anything for around 5 minutes, when someone suddenly showed up at his window. Dylan jumped up, surprised by the man's sudden appearance.
"Hello there, sir..." the man said.
Oh shit. Dylan thought. It was a policeman. "umm... hi?" Dylan replied nervously.
"Would you mind telling me what you are doing here? on this empty car park? alone?" the policeman said. Dylan looked at the man's badge; Patrick. "Well... Patrick... I'm just... chilling here, ya know? Trying to get away from all the chaos at home... with the... wife... and the... kids..." he said awkwardly.
"Oh yeah? And how would you describe the white powder on your nose then, eh?"
Dylan was stunned. He didn't know what to do. He just stayed there, staring at Patdick.
The policeman quickly reached for his gun started shouting. "Step out of the vehicle immediately, with your hands above your head!" There was nothing Dylan could do. He opened the door. Put his hands behind his head and stepped out of the car.
