Do you love me?
Your POV.
"You're doing it wrong!" The prefect yelled frustratedly
I failed yet again... I sighed, I'm such a screw up...
"Again!" Klaus demanded
"What but-" As usual I was cut off and did not finish my statement
"No buts, get to work if you wanna do it right!" The elder Goldstein scolded, his brows furrowing.
"F-Fine.." I said in defeat
I rolled up my sleeve and took a deep breath. "Alright I can do this..." I mumble to myself
I recite the incantation with my full focus and attention.
There was a bright binding light that curtained Klaus and I.
"Did it work?" I thought aloud
As soon as the light faded away, I saw a sight that meant that I really did screw up.
"Uh-Oh...." I sweat dropped and slowly averted my gaze to Klaus
"You idiot..." He smiled not with joy, but with anger
"S-Sorry!" I looked around the whole garden, now filled with toads.
"Thats enough for today... Clean this mess up." Klaus ran his hand through his golden hair and sighed. He walked away without a goodbye.
"Geez, why is he acting liks this?" I thought to myself
We've been together for months, but I cant help but worry. He's been really cold towards me since last week. I wonder whats wrong...
*Next Day [After Classes]
"No practice for today." Klaus announced
I would have been happy but I feel somewhat worried
He didn't even bat an eyelid, he was too busy with his paperwork
Too busy for me...
Huh? What? Do not think that, you idiot!!
"Uhm... Oh... Sure..." I mutter softly, with a disappointed tone.
Klaus remained silent still concentrated on his work, which was my cue to leave the room.
I walked gloomily along the hallway, sighing to myself.
"Hey have you heard that Klaus..." My ears suddenly perked up
I continue listening to their conversation, out of curiosity
"He has a new girl right?" The student whispered, but I somehow heard it
"But what about his girfriend?" The other student asked
"He's probably tired of her. She's just a screw up anyway."
I feel like my heart shattered for a moment there... Klaus? Tired of me?
"No, they're just rumors!" I thought to myself
I continue walking till I reach the girls dorm
* Night Time [12:00 am]
I kept rolling around my bed. I really couldn't sleep right now. Images of Klaus with another girl flashed in my head.
"Aargh!" I grumbled
I decided to take a breather so I slipped out of bed and went to the balcony
The wind blew, causing my hair to dance along with it
"Yuka, what are you doing, up at this time?" A voice said as I jumped in surprise.
"Elias! Well umm I was just,err... Uh.." I couldn't come up with a good excuse. This is bad.
"Well, nonetheless, care for a ride?" He offered, giving some space on the broom.
"S-Sure..." I replied and hopped on. I reluctantly wrapped my arms around him, just to make sure that I wouldn't fall off.
"Hold on tight!" He gave a soft reassuring smile. What's with him? He seems to be in an amazing mood.
I gripped on tighter as we zoomed through the sky, we flew high enough to see the moon at its fullest.
"Beautiful, right?" The boy remarked, mesmerized by the beauty of the moon.
"Yeah... I guess..." I mutter. I simply couldn't see anything good right now. Given the fact that I've been thinking of Klaus.
"Is something wrong?" Elias looked back at me, and tilted his head.
"Oh its nothi-" I got cut off
"What are you two doing at this time!?" A voice boomed angrily from behind us.
I glanced at the back to see Klaus riding his broom, as he was being illuminated by the moon.
"Oh, Prefect Klaus... We were just-" He interrupted my statement yet again.
"Go back to your dorms!" He crossed his arms. He seemed to be extra pissed.
"Alright. Sorry, maybe next time." Elias apologized and slowly descended onto my balcony.
"It's okay... See you tomorrow!" I respond cheerfully as Elias takes his leave.
"You two... What were you guys doing?" Klaus muttered under his breath.
"We were just looking at the moon...." I responded awkwardly. What the hell am supposed to say?
"And what's this about seeing him tomorrow?" He narrowed his eyes and peered at me.
"Elias is my classmate....?" I was conpletely puzzled, what's he going on about? Isn't this too much questioning?
"Ah yeah... Right..."
"So... Umm... Training tomorrow?" I asked, trying to build a conversation.
"Yeah... Don't be late." He answered with his usual, very serious tone.
"Umm... Are you mad...?"
"What?! Of course I am!"
"O-Oh, sorry, I won't be out late again..."
"I'm not mad about that."
"Huh?"
"How dense do you have to be? I'm mad because you were hugging another boy!"
"But, it's just Elias, he's your brother?"
"Even so...." He muttered. "The only guy you can hug is me..." Klaus pulled me into a warm embrace.
My cheeks flushed, it had been so long since he had hugged me.
"K-Klaus...?" I call out
He didn't respond, he just leaned his head on me and hugged me tighter.
"(y/n)...." His breath tickled my skin.
"What is it, Klaus?" I whispered softly.
"I love you."
My face grew redder by the minute, is this guy for real?! This is super embarrassing.
"U-Umm, I-I love you t-" Before I could finish my statement, Klaus had pressed his lips on mine.
"I'm the only one who can kiss you..." Klaus said firmly.
My expression lightened, so Klaus really does love me, that's a relief. I let out a small chuckle and smiled. "I love you too, Klaus..."
