Reuniting

Today was the day you finally get to see Dylan. It's been 4 long months, that felt more like 4 years. You finally get to kiss him again. You missed everything about him. His laugh, his touch, his smell, and most of all, his lips.
You hopped out of bed to get in the shower. When your feet touched the floor you were instantly nervous. What if he changed? What if you changed and he didn't love you anymore? What if he wants to break up?
All these questions popped into your head at once, it made you feel really dizzy, causing you to sit back down in your bed.
You looked at the clock, which read 6:30 and Dylan's flight lands at 7:45.
You pushed back all your thoughts and rushed to the bathroom. You looked at yourself in the mirror smiling. Just knowing that you will be seeing Dylan again.
The warm water hitting your back the moment you get in, is a really good feeling.
You finish in the shower and wrap a towel around your body and go to your closet to find something to wear.
You pick some black leggings and a long sleeve team tee. Along with your brown UGGS and your heart necklace Dylan got you for you 4 month anniversary.
You went back to the bathroom and got dressed and just put your hear into a messy bun.
You grabbed your phone and skipped out the door with happy written all over you.
You got the the airport and started questioning yourself again.
You sat in one of the chairs and let at tear slip down your face, but quickly wiping it away when you heard that Dylan's flight just landed. You looked up at the gates and quickly locked eyes with the love of your life. Your whole world standing there looking back at you with a slight smile on his face, causing all those thoughts to be pushed back.
Your eyes started to fill with tears as you slowly got off the chair and stood there. Before you knew it everyone else in the airport had disappeared, vanished. It's like time stopped and it was just you and Dylan. A tear slipped down your face as you started running towards Dylan. He ran too and when he got closer he dropped his bags and you jumped into his arms, feeling that warmth of him that you haven't felt in 4 months. And you missed it so much.
You wrapped your arms around him so tight, as he did the same.
" I missed you so much baby girl" Dylan said as you heard him start to cry.
"I missed you more dyl" you replied, crying as well. You pulled your head away and looked into his eyes. You, slowly, staring to move your face closer to Dylan's as he did the same. He smiled quickly closing the little space between yours and his lips. He kissed you slowly but passionately as he brought you down and wrapped his arms securely around your waist bringing you closer.
"I missed this so much" you said as Dylan pulled away.
"Me too baby" Dylan mumbled as he pulled you into one last kiss.
