"Honey" your mom called.
"Yes mommy" you called back putting down your dolls.
"Honey the new neighbors are here to say hi"
You ran down the steps, jumping down the last 3 steps.
Your mom smiled at you as she took your hand a lead you to the living room.
Standing there was a girl your moms age, and a boy about your age.
"Say hi honey" you mom said looking at you.
You hid behind your moms legs as the little boy started walking over to you.
"Hi, I'm Dylan" he said holding out his hand, smiling.
You started to slowly walk to him shaking your hand smiling.
"Do you wanna go play" you asked Dylan.
He nodded his head and you guys ran up to your room to play.
And from that day on you guys were best friends.

"Pssst" you heard as a finger tapped your shoulder.
"What do want Alex" you said rolling your eyes.
"Here" he whispered while handing you a note.
You looked at the teacher writing something about history on the board.
I took the note and opened it.

You smiled to yourself as you looked back at Dylan. He was already smiling at you, blushing a little.
You looked back at whatever the teacher was teaching the class as you thought about what Dylan wanted.

You waited for Dylan u see the bleachers just like he said. You looked at you feet as you felt at tap on your shoulder.
You turned around to see Dylan with with a red rose and a smile on his face.
You smiled as hugged Dylan.
"I wanted to ask you something." He said nervously.
"Shoot" You said laughing.
"Okay well I've wanted to ask you this for a long time. Here goes nothing.......Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked you.
"Um..." You didn't know what to say. You liked Dylan a lot. You really wanted to say yes but you couldn't.
You turned around and ran. Fast. Into the school building, Dylan yelling after you. See
Once you got in the school and walked to the bathroom.
You looked into the mirror and calmed yourself down.
You walked out of the bathroom and there stood Dylan holding the bent rose and his smile replaced with a frown.
"Dylan..." You said walking up to him.
He looked up at you with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry I should've done this, can you please just forget about it. I really don't wanna ruin our friendship. " he said.
"I'm not going to forget about it... Because my answer is yes!" You said pulling him up off the wall.
He looked at me with joy.
"Really?"
You nodded as you wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him down.
His lips were and inch away from your before he completed closed the space between you two.
Sparks flew everywhere as your stomach filled with butterflies.
And in that moment you feel completely in love with him as he did the same.
