At the feast, Professor McGonagall made her speech, which was about how Hogwarts was attacked and students were required to retake their year which they took during the war.Harry Potter was just glad to see familiar faces again, at least some students were safe. He didn't really listen to the speech (or cared, as a matter of fact). Harry looked around the Great Hall and caught Draco staring. He gave him a small smile and dug in the food when it appeared.

Did Harry Potter just smile at him? Draco was as still as a statue until Pansy snapped him out of his reverie."Draco! Quit staring at Potter. I know you have a crush on him but tone it down!"
Draco almost fell out of his seat. "Wha-what?"
"It's really obvious. Well, for girls, at least. Just to let you know, Ginny and Dean are together now. Potter is free, go get him before someone puts a pricetag on him," Pansy said. Draco laughed (trying to cover up his embarrassment). He was secretly happy that Harry was single, but also for the fact that Pansy wasn't a homophobic. (throws a party, Pansy ships Drarry)

In the Gryffindor dormitory, every Gryffindor was asleep except for Harry. He kept thinking about the eye contact with Draco at the feast. All Harry knew was that they were not enemies. He saved that blonde's life! It was not that. He wanted to get to know Draco. He didn't know what this feeling was, but he needed to satisfy this aching need that his heart was painfully begging for.
He slept thinking of that.
