X. It worth it

Barry's chapter:

I sat on a chair for 24 hours and she didn't wake up, she didn't even move a little. Caitlin is in the med on the middle of the room, of course with a rope who was tying her hands to the bed. Cisco still a little dazed after what happened but I can't blame him. It's my fault.

I told him to not come today and take a day off, I said the same for Dr.Wells and Felicity. Cisco is at his place, Dr.Wells at a conference and Felicity left for a few days to see Oliver at Starling City. It has been cold all the day ... normal, it's the new season and it had to be the winter. S.T.A.R Labs haven't been that quiet since a long time and I didn't move either from my chair, every time I close my eyes, I see the real Caitlin coming back to my mind. I think that If I came back in the night to work in the cortex, she will be the only one here, working on her computer as always. Caitlin loved her job so much, she was born to be a scientist, a famous scientist. We passed our nights here, when we didn't want to sleep, talking, laughing and playing. She had the habits to win all the game we did except one, operation, I always won this one and after her defeat, we leave the lab and eat an ice cream near the bridge. So many times I could- :

???: Hey Barry ... A coffee ?

I can recognize Iris' voice 4 miles away. She know where I pass my all time and I also told her for Caitlin but not for the Flash ... I just told her that he was one of my friends and found Caitlin for me. I could tell her truth but I work with her father, Joe West, and he said that I have to proctect her for the all cost. It's just a little lie, right ? I looked at her with a smile on my face:

Barry: Sure Iris.

---- She held me the coffee from Jitters ----

Iris: Can I sit here ?

Barry: It's a free country right ?

Iris: It depends of points of view Bar.

---- I laughed  softly and she did the same----

Iris: So ... How she is doing ?

Barry: Better, I think ... To be honest with you I don't know.

Iris: She will soon Barry, don't worry.

Barry: Yeah ... I can't avoid myself to have a doubt about that.

Iris: What do you mean ?

Barry: She don't have enough reason to fight for living and I think she's not trying. I was in the coma when all of it happened, someone helped her to fight back against her bad side ... And it wasn't even me.

Iris: Are you talking about the I.T girl ? The brunette ?

Barry: Yes and she left ... Caitlin was, again, alone.

Iris: Barry, I think she have an only reason to live and fight and I also think this is enough ... It's you.

Barry: It can be ...

Iris: Why ?!?

Barry: Iris ... I was with her a million times, she was by my side the all day and in my head all the night. And even with this state of mind, I didn't tell her how I feel until all explode. Caitlin never knew about my feelings and I blamed my myself for not telling her. I said to myself the all time "I have the time, she won't disappear" and this is exactly what she did.

Iris: Barry ... I never fell in love with someone in that way... but, when I see how you are now, I see how it can hurt, it can be hard to fight but it worth it so much than you know ! You have to fight because it worth it ... Caitlin worth it and she deserves you fight for her and not staying doing nothing all the day. You're a scientist ! Scientist finds solution to make our lives better, you can resolve this problem, Cisco and Felicity can help you ! I can too.

Barry: Thanks Iris.

Iris: Everything for my bro !!

Barry: I feel better.

Iris: You will feel so much better after the dinner I planned with my dad tonight, and I told him that you will coming ... you don't mind I hope ? Uh ?

Barry: No, of course, I would like to eat with my best friend and the best detective of Central City !

Iris: Cool ! Let's go !

I stood up, taking my coat and following her trough the room, before entering in the elevator where Iris was waiting, I glanced at Caitlin for the last time before leaving. Iris was driving and I was on the passenger seat, I didn't feel like I wanted to drive and I maybe forgot how to drive, super speed is also a good way to go on the other side of the city in 1 min ... If I'm not too pressed by the time. More the time was passing in the car, more I knew I was far away from Caitlin. I know she's okay and safe, Cisco changed the security of the lab, only the people we know personally can go in, that's include Joe and Iris, of course. She will wake up ... I still hoping.

Hey guys !! Finally find a little free time to write so here's this chapter that I just finished to write 2 min ago !! Caitlin still in the med bed ... yeah ... Barry Blaming himself again ... Barry needed someone to cheer him up and this time, I thought it could be more interesting to have Iris next to him like in the beginning. I'm a BIG snowbarry fan but I always loved Iris/Barry friendship ! I hope I could write and update soon !!!!!
