Chapter Four

Will approached Andy as he was getting out of his car. Andy smiled at him and Will grinned back."Stop by my place, tonight," Will told him.
"Alright," Andy replied, rubbing his eyes and popped the joints in his hands, "I'll be right in, I just want a smoke."
"Will, do you have anything to help us?" Ashley asked.
He smirked before opening his phone, "The rebels claim their brave new world is upon us. Do not be fooled by the chicanery in which they lay their claim. It is false, and their uprising will not succeed. You will place your trust in F. E. A. R. You must!"
"I love it," Andy said behind him, "Anybody else?"
"Yeah," Ash said, "I have something. It's raw, but I figure we can work on it." He picked up an acoustic sitting next to him and played a few chords, "'We are, we are the revelation. So scream it out loud. We are, we are the birth of a nation. So join as one. It's time to raise our flags up high. We are, we are the revelation. So scream it out loud!'"
"'Woah oh, woah oh'," CC sang softly, "'The sound of a nation. Woah oh, woah oh'."
Andy bit his lip while figuring out another verse, "'The glory of a nation dies... The symbol of this war is coming. A warning meant to save our lives from F. E. A. R's religion'!"
"That should be first," Jinxx said, "And then have something like, uh, 'Out of the depths we crawled to light. Never give in when the fire rises. Standing here together'... No, 'standing here unified, out hearts near crosses'."
"'We are legions mesmerised'," Jake said, "'By the fools that killed our vision. Won't stray or apologise for these decisions'."
"I love it," John said, breaking the silence, "Everyone take a break, Andy, come with me to work on this."
Everyone dispersed and Will went to go have a smoke outside. As he exhaled, his mind wandered to the long-haired singer. Will had to admit, he was going to be sad when it was all over, but this was a huge project, so he knew it would take awhile. He took a picture of his hands, enjoying the way the smoke curled around them. He smirked as he read comments from his fans. He loved his little deviants. He closed his eyes, put his head in his hands and sighed.

"Will!" Ash said, smiling broadly, "Come get lunch with us!"
'Eh, why not?' Will thought to himself. He climbed into the backseat of Ash's car next to Jake who insisted on sitting in the middle so Will didn't have to deal with CC. As they drove to the restauraunt, Will was glad that Jake was in the middle since CC was chattering away and driving Jake crazy by poking him.
"CC, calm the fuck down! How much caffeine did you have exactly?" Ashley asked him.
"None," he replied, getting serious.
Everyone was quiet for a few minutes before CC grinned and started to laugh.
"Fuck you, man," Jinxx said. "Jesus Christ, CC, you are so fucking annoying."
"You love me," CC sang.
Jinxx muttered something under his breath and Will chuckled, exchanging a look with Jake. Ashley turned into the parking lot and everyone climbed out of the car, Jinxx stretched and groaned. He winked at Will who had been staring before walking in with everyone else where a pretty waitress greeted them.
"Hello, five?"
Ash gave her what he called the 'Purdy smirk', "Yes."
She blushed and nodded, "Alright, well, please follow me."
Will watched her with fascination. She seemed like the type to date lawyers or people with reputable status, yet, here she was, falling over herself in order to please Ashley who had long hair, tattoos; the complete opposite of what a good girl like her would find attractive. She was pretty; Will could see why Ash found her attractive, long, blonde, hair, brown eyes with long lashes, sweet smile and toned, slim figure. He knew Ash liked to play the ladie's man, the player, but he was the exact opposite.
They sat down and she handed them the menus. "Your server will be right with you."
"She was easy on the eyes, huh, Ash?" CC joked.
Ash smirked, "Mm, yes she was."

After lunch, they all headed back to the studio. Jinxx and Jake started working on tracking while everyone else worked on songs. Will sat next to Andy, so close that their thighs were touching but seeing as it was a small couch, no one thought it odd. Will could see the impact his closness had on Andy, the way he stuttered and cleared his throat. It was all simply delectable. The harsh ring of Will's cellphone broke the meeting and he glanced at the screen to see that she was calling. He ended the call while putting his phone on silent.
"Wasn't important," he said.
