I was walking home as i saw the giant house next to ours finally got sold.

I sighed walking past it, i have to deal with new neighbors. Great.

I threw my backpack onto the counter, and went on to my phone. I scrolled and scrolled, nothing was really happening today. Just a normal Tuesday. I put my phone down and went to the fridge for a snack, i grabbed some nutella, dont even ask, i was so tired.

My brother walked in the kitchen and slapped the nutella out of my hands. i gasped and said " I swear to god Nathan if you do that again.." "What are you gonna do, chubs" he quickly replied. I hated when he called me that.

My mom walked in and said " Did you guys see?" we both replied with a "See what". "Were gonna have new neighbors!! I am so excited, i invited them over for a dinner party tonight!" "Oh my god are you kidding me mom, bye!" I walked to my room and closed my door, and started listening to music. "God i cant believe she invited them over for a dinner party, fuck" I said aloud.

It was around 5 o'clock when our new neighbors came. I quietly said hi to the couple, i just guessed they had no children. "fuck yeah" i thought. "our daughter Ashley is running a little late". Well i was wrong.

The Ashley girl arrived just like 30 minutes after her parents arrived. "Hi.." i said to anxiously to her. "hello" she replied back. This is so awkward. I stared at her for a few seconds, and i realized how beautiful she was. She had brown eyes, brown hair, and freckles. I finally snapped out of it, god whats wrong with me.

" so you want to come to my room or.." "sure!" she quickly replied. We walked to my room silently. "so what kind of bands or artists do you listen to?" i asked her. She started going down a list of her favorite bands, and mine. We just spent the next 2 hours talking about bands. But she had to leave, shit. I really wanted to talk to her more. I said bye to her family, and i felt pretty accomplished. "So how did it go with you two?" my mother asked. "It went pretty well" I replied.
