Chapter 2 "Calls and Flights"

\Stella's POV/

"Mom, please!" I begged. My mom, Natasha, has a hard-shell but I couldn't believe my mom said no to letting me go to live with Dan and Phil. My sister, Savannah a.k.a Sav, sat in the corner being very jealous of me because of getting the offer! My mom sighed, "Stella, it's really far away and I don't know how I feel with you going to live with two male adults that I don't even know!"

I shrugged my shoulders, "I know them... kind of."

My mom sighed and looked at me, "Let me think about it. I might call the school and see if they can give me contact information to Dan and Phil, then we will see how I feel about it." I nodded and went to my room. When I entered my room, I decided that I should tweet to Phil and see if he responds. Maybe he'll handle my mom. I grabbed my phone and went to Twitter and started tweeting to Phil and Direct messaging him,

"Hi Phil! I'm Stella; I am the girl coming to live with you and Dan for two months. But my mother is being very stubborn about it and I would like to know if you could do anything about this. Thank you!"

I didn't think I would get a reply right away but to my surprise, I did. He responded,

"Hi Stella! Nice to know you have a Twitter! Um... your school should have our phone numbers and emails so she can contact us through that. Hope it helps!"

I smiled and ran upstairs to my mom and showed her the messages. She called the school and asked for Dan and Phil's number. The school, being very giving to parents, gave Dan's, Phil's, and their house number. My mom called the house number and I stood in anxiety because I couldn't believe my mom could be talking to Dan or Phil in the slightest next minute.

\Phil's POV/

I went into the den where the living room is and I heard the phone ringing. It must be Stella's mum or maybe the school calling. I answered it before Dan could lean over and grab it as he was sitting on the couch as usual in his Tumblr position.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi, this is Natasha, Stella Myers's mom, who am I speaking to?" the woman spoke.

"This is Phil. Phil Lester mam," I said.

I looked at Dan and he looked at me questioning who the other person on the line was. "Hi, um, I heard about the program Stella is being enlisted in and I wanted to know who she will be with and who will be looking after her while she is with you guys. I'm just looking after my daughter and I don't feel comfortable with her going to live with people I don't know," she said. I chuckled a bit under my breathe,

"Oh no, it's fine. I understand. She'll be staying with Dan and I as we live in Britain. We understand that she is a young female and when it is night, she will be staying with our good friend, Zoe Sugg, who is also a YouTuber, I can email you all our addressing and such if you would like. I'll also give you Zoe's number and you can speak to her. Stella won't be alone at all during her time here. She will always have an adult with her at all times, either me, Zoe or Dan will be with her," I tried to explain to the mother as well as I could.

"Okay, that sounds good to me. Um, this is my mobile number so if you ever need it, this is the number you would call me at. I can email you or you can email me more details later but I just wanted to check in and talk to who she was staying with and see if she is safe with you guys!" the mum laughed.

I laughed along with her, as I was being a complete gentleman, "Yes of course. Thank you for letting her come!"

The phone call reached an end after we swapped emails and I carefully put in Stella's mum's number into my contacts. I looked at Dan and Dan smirked, "You get some digits?" he laughed. I shook my head, "Shut up." Dan put his hand on the arm of the couch and sighed, "But seriously, who was it?" he asked.

I put the phone back into it's placement, "It was Stella's mum, she just wanted to know some information and such," I said and sat down beside him as I was going to take some time editing a new video for my main channel. "Did you talk to Zoe about letting Stella stay with her?" Dan asked. I nodded, "She's aware of it and she understands the situation and she said she is more than happy to do it." After a few minutes, Dan scrolled through Tumblr but didn't resist making a joke, "So you got a thing for mums?" I laughed and shrugged, "Only time can tell, Daniel."

Two weeks later...

\Stella's POV/

My mom drove me to the airport after I got done packing the last bit of my clothes. I might as well have packed my whole room because I had everything from my laptop, clothes, phone, chargers, make-up, bathroom essentials, extra pillow and blanket, to my own freaking collection of shoes and boots! I had everything I needed for two months living in England. I've never traveled this far away from home but I'm sure everything will go just fine. When my plane began boarding, I went to my mom and sister and my grandmother, Bella, to tell them goodbye.

"Remember to call me if you ever need anything, I'm not afraid to hop on a plane to England for you!" my mom said hugging me. My sister hugged me exclaiming, "Say hi to Phil for me..." I laughed, "What about Dan?"

Her eyes went wide, "Oh yeah, him too!"

I hugged my grandma and she smiled, "Have a good time! Don't forget to take lots of pictures so we can see what you're up to!" I nodded, "Okay, I will. Love you!"

As we said our last goodbyes, I went in the line and boarded the plane. I had a window seat, which was amazing. I love to plug my earphones in and listen to my spotify playlist while looking out the window and watching the world pass me by. Once I sat down, I did exactly that. The first song I played was, "Happy Little Pill" by Troye Sivan. I saw the plane take off and all I could think about what was waiting for me at the end of this ride.
