When I was first diagnosed I woke up in intensive care and the first sight I saw was my mum, tears trickling down her cheeks with bright red circles under her eyes. As if she had been crying so hard, leaning over me checking if I was breathing. I tried getting the insulator of me but the funny thing is, I couldn't move I was froze as if my hole world was trapped in time. I ask "what's going on?" In a curious tone, but the reply I get back is nothing, of was if nobody could hear me. Then suddenly I wake up in fear with the same sight of my mum and the doctors, I ask again to get an answer and the reply I get is a complete silence, it was so silent I could hear the air moving around me. The doctor stares at my mum in a pity way. Then he begins to open his lips and he says "You smacked your head Mia, Lindsey your best friend called the ambulance and for help. You should really be thanking her she saved your life". I just stars blankly at him as if I'm stuck in a time. He starts speaking again, " I'm afraid we will have to keep you in a few nights as I'm quite worried and satisfied you need treatment for your diagnosis for you epilepsy ". "But I already have some?" I say. "We have to give you a stronger dose a Mia it's getting worse.... I'm sorry to tell you Mia you have... Cancer. Stage 4 and I'm sorry Mia there's nothing we can do to save you." He said shedding a tear as if he was frightened to be me. My heart froze and tears burst out, I was dying could I believe my life, it was nearly over.
