The Slumber Party (Pt. 2)

Katelyn's POV

     "HAI!" everybody said in union.

     A slumber party before our special day? Awesome! This is great!

     I took out a bracelet from my backpack. I always put on this bracelet after school.

     It's a gift from my parents.

     I valued this bracelet, it's the prettiest bracelet I had ever seen!

     Before I can even put it on, someone snatched it from me.

     He ran away with it.

     Of course I ran after him.

     I left my backpack behind.

     There wasn't any money or more jewelry in my backpack and I have my phone on me so, I didn't care.

     He got a head start so, I had to force myself to run even faster than I ever did to catch up with him.

     Then, I saw him fell onto the ground.

     Man, I wish I can laugh. But! I need to be serious.

    When I caught up to him, I saw a guy standing next to him.

     He had light brown hair, light blue eyes, and.......... MY BRACELET.

    I was panting really heavy.

     "Excuse me, is this your bracelet?"

     "Yes........ it.......... is........... mine," I said each word between each pant.

     He knew that I was too sore to do anything so, he walk toward me, took my hand, and put on my bracelet.

     I felt sparks when he touched me.

     My panting stopped and I got my breath back.

     "Thank you, I am grateful to get my bracelet back from that guy"

     I learned to use my manners from my parents. My parents are strict parents.

     "You're welcome. By the way, my name is Laurence," Laurence said along with a smile.

     "Oh thank you. My name is Katelyn. Hope to see you again soon!"

     "Alright, bye! Be careful,"

     "I will!" I shouted and returned to where I left my backpack.

     Good thing my backpack is still there and it was zipped closed.

     I hurried to my house and ran to my room.

     Picked a blue backpack and packed my stuff. Then, headed to Kiki's house.
