Chapter 3-
When we got into the locker rooms for gym, Immy introduced me to two of her friends, Charley and Katy. Charley was really bubbly and she was always chatting, her red hair was in loose curls and bounced as she spoke. Katy was quiet and she didn't really say a lot, her thick glasses made her chestnut eyes stand out, her hair was light brown, like mine. They both seemed nice.
Immy, Charley, Katy and I made our way outside and onto the playing fields, the coach (Who Charley told me was Coach Benson) told us that our lesson was going to be taught by some of the sophomores as a part of their unit. Most of the girls giggled at the thought of being taught by the undeniably gorgeous boys, but Immy just groaned, I laughed at her as Coach Benson pointed at a group of around 10 boys on the field.
They were all taller than I was, and they looked athletic.
"Okay girls, I want you to do 3 laps around the field as a warm up, GO!" Coach bellowed as he blew a whistle.
I was half way through my second lap when one of the sophomores shouted over. He must have been the leader of the group, he had a dark shade of copper hair that fell over his face, that had freckles on. His eyes were huge chocolate pools and his perfectly sculpted lips were a pale peach shade, his body looked toned, his entrancing eyes were looking directly at me, and I felt my cheeks burn red.
"Immogen dear!" he called "Who's your friend?"
I felt my cheeks blush more as Immy gave him the finger.
"Girls get running and Evans, keep your mouth shut, CLEAR" the coach shouted.
"Clear Coach" the boy replied but he turned to me once more and added "New chick, I know you can't resist me, so let’s not waste time, how about I take you out sometime? No commitments, just let me ruin your innocent mind, you know, we could skip the date and I can bring you back to my place if you know what I mean?" He smirked.
I couldn’t believe what he was saying, was my staring obvious? He was a complete player, and I was not impressed that he’d embarrassed me like that. I really didn't know what to say, but I was saved by Coach Benson shouting,
"EVANS GET OFF THE PLAYING FIELD. And count this as a detention."
The boy jogged off, smirking, and winking at me as he past. “Offer still stands baby!” he yelled.
Immy turned to me "I’m so sorry about that," she said quickly "My brother can be quite cocky at times."
"Don't worry about it," I laughed, "He was just messing anyway." I wanted to say how i really felt, but he was Immy’s brother and I didn’t want it to be awkward.
She smiled "If I were you I'd steer clear! I know he's my brother, but Blake is a total player." So that was his name. Blake Evans.
