Last month I resided in a small apartment in downtown Chicago. A small place that has the basic needs for life. Nothing really happened during this month except that I came close to accidentally burning myself when I was making pasta. I guess the trip to Italy didn't help the fact that my cooking skills were in desperate need of improvement. Most days I had instant noodles or something of the likes of that.

That month was extremely boring especially after the month before whose trip which included having to run away from an Italian chef after realizing I didn't have enough money to pay for the pasta I had already eaten. Two months after that I 'landed' in England during the 20th century. When I first got there I thought it would be pretty uneventful, most places are unless there's a war of sorts going on or I accidentally publicly display my powers. I've been going from time and place to time and place for 20 years since my father died. And I had yet to find my first soulmate. Little did I know it would happen on my trip to London stopping by Emily and Griffin's home.

My first memories with them were when I was about 4. The nickname that I had for Griffin was something he only tolerated from me. His nickname was 'Gif'. This nickname happened because when we were kids I couldn't quite pronounce my R's so 'Grif' turned into 'Gif'. Emily's nickname was simply 'Em'. Because I had known Griffin and Emily for so long, being separated from them suddenly when I was 8 was devastating. It was the first time I traveled through time, and I haven't seen either of them since.

Turns out that this particular trip to England, London included visiting my old home. Of course I thought it impossible that off all different times I could've traveled to London, it happened to be in the mere 60-70 years Griffin and Emily would live if I hadn't knocked on their door. Before I finally decided I would visit, I would debate about it for days. The only clue I have as to how old either of them are is that Emily is one year older the Griffin. A fact that Griffin was reminded of constantly. I decided that the best way to decide whether or not I would visit would be with the daily newspaper. I scanned the heavy paper and saw the date in the corner. October 19th 1919. Out pure curiosity I looked at the front of the paper, what I saw surprised me; SMITH RESIDENCE IS CONSIDERED A DANGER ZONE

Huh? I wondered, what could the mean? That was the exact moment I had decided to pay Griffin Smith and Emily Hay a visit.

That brings us to the present
