Fallen

Prologue

Mark: Why are you doing this to me? I asked him.

Jackson: Don't you get it? It's over I'm done with you.

Mark: Why are you dumping me like I'm some kind of toy you just throw away once you're tired?

Jackson: Because that's what you are to me. I never loved you and no one will ever love someone like you. Now get out of my sight.

And with that, Mark stormed out running as fast as he could to escape all the hurt. Hurt that his boyfriend's now Ex is giving him.

Jinyoung: Aren't you being too hard on him?

JB: He doesn't deserve it you know.

Jackson: I know but it's the only way...

Mark's POV

It has been three months since that incident, I haven't seen him since then.

It was already past six and I was walking towards the pedestrian to get to the café to meet my friends Yugyeom and Bambam. I was already crossing the street when a car came rushing in.

"Mark, look out..." A voice called out.

But it was already too late there was a blinding flash and I'm sure that I'll be hit by the car. I can hear screams from the people around me. The screeching of the car tires can also be heard from the background. I was stuck in place unable to move the only thing I can do right now is close my eyes and wait for the car to hit me which never happened to my surprise.

I was back on the sidewalk when I opened my eyes. Confused, I looked around I was pretty sure that I should be dead by now. The car was nowhere to be found and I received not even a single scratch, how could have this happened? Was I daydreaming just now? It can't be! I'm pretty sure that it was all real. And that voice I know that voice...

Flashback

3 years ago

"Hey, look out..." A voice called out as a hand grabbed my arms and I was dragged backward. "Yah why aren't you looking at where you're going?" "Thanks," I replied and bowed down. That was the first time I saw him. I didn't know it back then but that was the day I've fallen for him. "Daydreaming while crossing the street is not advisable you know," One of his friends said I think his name is JB. "It's a good thing Jackson dragged you back you could've died you know," another friend of his, Jinyoung I think. "Take care of yourself now okay," this time it was Jackson who spoke as he pats my head before they crossed the street.

End of Flashback

That was Jackson's voice but where is he? I thought.

Meanwhile...

JB's POV

"I think we should inform Mark about this," Jinyoung said. "You know the rule we made our promise," I replied. "Are you suggesting that we let him continue thinking that Jackson just used him?" Jinyoung rebut. "I didn't say that" was my reply. "Then we should tell him then," Jinyoung argued. "I didn't say that either, look there is a reason Jackson did what he did okay, their affair is none of our business. Just try to act normal whenever you bump into Mark okay". "I'm not sure I'll be able to do that, ever heard of the word guilt?" Jinyoung said. "I know it will be hard that's why I'm always here for you baby," I said reassuringly.
