I was too warm.

Squirming, I tried moving away from a very disgruntled basketball player, one who began growling slightly when I did. I couldn't help the laugh that escaped me. "Someone's becoming clingy." I said, teasing him. "I don't mind being called clingy by you. But if you tell someone else..." He said, making it sound like a threat. "Oh yeah? What'll you do?" I retorted, my tone that of mock-disdain. Suddenly, he flipped me over, holding my arms above my head and leaning over me.

*Beep* *Beep

My cell phone began ringing. I turned to pick it up, except he wouldn't let me go. "Aomi-" I paused, noticing the glare he sent my way. An immediate blush colored my face, something I knew because I could feel a sort of pleasant burn, especially on my cheeks. A tingling sensation that made me want to look away. I had traveled a lot, mainly for shoots. And I'd referred to a lot of my foreign colleagues by their first names, but, being Japanese, we were taught to refer to people using their last names, coupled with appropriate honorifics. I wasn't used to calling people by their first names, I doubt I've done that a lot during my time in Japan.

I took a deep breath, "Daiki..." I murmured, "I need to pick that up." I wasn't looking his way. He sighed, making me look at him. He had an exasperated look on his face, "I'm going to throw your cell phone someday." I smiled, picking the cell phone.

"[Name]-cchi!" Squealed Kise-kun, making me scrunch my face up in annoyance. Aomine-kun, No, Daiki snatched the phone from me, "She's busy, bye." But before he could cut the call, Kise-kun began yelling, "[Name]-cchi! You have a  shoot tomorrow! That's what I had to tell!" He cut the call.

"Where were we?"

I rolled my eyes.

An hour... or maybe three hours later, I accompanied Daiki-kun (Yes, I will get used to calling him that) to his basketball game. He was two hours late but he wasn't even a bit ruffled. After he was done warming up (a treat for my eyes), he went ahead to play the third quarter. But not before barging into the Touou locker room to announce his newly changes status. With a bit of seriously embarrassing PDA. Or maybe a lot. Enough to make a few people turn away and others say, "Aomine, get a room." Wakamatsu-san's expression indicated that he was scarred for life, something he tried to remedy by charging at Daiki-kun with his fist drawn. I was standing, utterly dazed, in front of the tanned player. Only to be roughly pushed behind him, Daiki-kun carelessly thwarted Wakamatsu-san's punch by digging his knee into Wakamatsu-san's stomach.

Imayoshi-san had to separate the two of them. And Aomine-kun... Daiki-kun got a smack on the back of his head, by yours truly. He merely grunted and walked off to play.

I watched him play, just like the gazillion times before. And it was the same... Vicious but graceful. When they signaled for the break after the third quarter, he came back grinning like the Cheshire cat. In fact, he had a smug expression throughout. I didn't figure out why he was acting so creepy until, "Ne... [Name]-chan, you should stop staring at him so much." I blinked, looking at Momoi-san with a sort of confused expression. Momoi-san had a knowing look on her face, "You've been staring at him the entire quarter." She explained. I scoffed, "No I haven't. Don't be ridiculous." I tried playing it off, but nothing can be hidden from Momoi Satsuki, and so I gave up.

After the game, which Touou won, and after Imayoshi-san broke up yet another about-to-be brawl between Aomine and Wakamatsu-san, we left for the day.

I would like to say that I slept peacefully... But there were a LOT of distractions.

Distractions that I didn't mind. Not at all.

The fact that I didn't mind it didn't mean that Daiki wouldn't get hit the next morning. Especially considering I had a photo shoot and bleary-eyed wasn't an ongoing trend. Heck, I highly doubted it would ever become a trend. I looked that sleepy and haggard in the morning.

Izumi-san managed to cover it up, and she did so while continuously complaining and whining. This, coupled with around ten death glares every two minutes ensured that Daiki didn't speak a word during the entire shoot. Yes, he'd insisted on coming, and I was too annoyed with him to talk. Meaning, he was getting the silent treatment but he couldn't do anything about it until after the shoot.

After the shoot, I walked back to my place, determined to kick him out just like all those times before. Ah... those amazing days. But he tagged along.

"You know, you shouldn't wear short clothes like that. Makes you look like a slut."

I paused. My fingers closed into fists, I whipped around and began yelling my ass off at him. I cussed and swore and snarled at the idiot, while he stood there with his hands in his pocket.

When I paused to take a breath, he smiled, but before I could begin my tirade again, he merely said, "You weren't talking to me." I blinked, "Obviously! I was pissed with you!" "Why?" "Because you told me I looked like a slut!" "Well, you weren't talking to me!" "That doesn't mean you can call me a slut!" He opened his mouth to retort, probably say something even worse, except we were interrupted by Kise-kun and Kasamatsu-senpai.

"Ooooh! First fight!" Squealed Kise-kun.

"Shut up!" Both of us yelled at him.

"Don't tell me these two will become one of those lovey dovey couples who'll complete each other's sentences!" Kise-kun said, dancing out of my reach.

That did not deter me, I reached up and gripped his ear, yanking on it and making him yell. Kasamatsu-senpai had to intervene, which he did probably because he didn't want to lose his best player just before a match.

After that debacle, we went to eat at Maji Burger, all four of us. I was glaring at both Aomine-kun and Kise-kun by now, but unfortunately Kasamatsu-senpai was standing in between and basically blocking my access to the other two.

"What happened with you two?" He asked. And I explained exactly what had transpired between us, complete with glares and dirty looks in Aomine-kun's direction.

"Who did you model with?" Asked Kise-kun. "[Some-random-guy]-san." I said.

Kise-kun laughed suddenly. "What?" I snapped at him.

"Aominecchi is jealous! There's a first."

I blinked, looking at Aomine-kun.

The tanned basketball player's cheeks were dusted with pink.
