My life so far

My Angels

After the first day of grade 10 I was feeling ok about myself. I had some friends and I had some enemies, things could've been better but I can't change that now. My classes were pretty good, I have art and design which I really like doing but there are those subjects we don't get to chose like English and World Studies. I'm really bad at English but if I try my hardest then I know I haven't failed completely.

I return home to mum who was surprisingly singing along to some music. I had no clue what she was listening to and she told me it was "infinity" by "One Direction". I stop to listen to the song. It's really good, how have I not heard of them ever before!! I run to my room telling mum that I'll be down soon, and go straight to my Mac. I type in 'One Direction', and on my screen pops up pages and pages of information. I click on the first link I see and start reading. They're a boy and from Britain, there were 5 of them but 1 left, they look pretty hot, they're sort of young, some of them have tattoos.

I keep reading through all these different pages and watching videos and I suddenly realise that it's 2:00 am. I've been sitting here for hours just researching this one band! I went downstairs to grab some food and then I went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and got some breakfast. I sat down at the table with my headphones in, I was listening to all the One Direction songs. I walk outside, shutting the door behind me, and go down the street to where my bus stop was. I waited for the bus which took a while and watched a music video. It was live while we're young, such a good song.
The school day had passed really quickly and shortly I was home, away from all the people that make me feel crap, in my own heaven, with the 4-5 people that make me happy. I watch old videos which have Zayn in them and I also watch some new ones without Zayn.

I walk downstairs to mum and say to her, " mum, I've found my happiness". She looks at me strangely and replies, " we'll go on then tell me who it is, tell me who you're going to be bringing around lol the time now. Who do I get to meet? Come on tell me!!" Wow, mum sure does seem really excited to find out who's been making me so happy lately. I don't know how to tell her but I guess I'm just going to say it. "Mum, firstly I can't bring them home, secondly there's more than 1. There's 4-5 of them. It's One Direction,the British boyband. Well one of them's Irish but that's not the point. They're so funny and cute and I don't know how they've been kept away from me but they are my everything. Every time I get bullied at school I always listen to their music and it instantly makes me happy." Mum replies, " oh, well then. Umm, I don't know what to say... If they make you happy then I guess we might have to start buying you some merchandise. We might have to start looking when their concerts are." I jump up and down with excitement, what if I could meet them? OMG that would be so amazing!!

Sorry for the lateness of this chapter. Some things have been going on so I've been busy with that instead. Anyway I hope you enjoy and I'm sorry if you hate one direction but they have changed my life so much since 2010 so I thought I'd put them in my book
