Saturday, 11:30 am
Chanel woke up because of the burning sun shining trough her eyelids. She grabbed her phone to see if she had received any notifications. Chanel rolled her eyes as she read a text;

From: Michaela
"hey bbyg, party @ max tonight??"
11:05 am

Chanel didn't reply and got up out of bed. She stood in her bathroom, in front of the sink and looked in the mirror. Looking at the things her parents did wrong. She sighed and went to music on her phone. She chose a playlist and put it on shuffle. Home to mama by Cody Simpson ft Justin Bieber started playing. She sang along and began to brush her teeth. After she was done brushing her teeth, she took a shower and put clothes on. Did her make-up and hair and went downstairs.

"Goodmorning mom," She said as she made herself breakfast. "Goodmorning Chanel" Her mother sent Chanel a small smile. "Where's Jack?" Chanel asked. Jack is her mother's boyfriend. "He went to a meeting with one of his friends," "Hm, okay" Chanel shrugged her shoulders and sat down on the couch.

The doorbell rang. "Sweetie, can you open the door?" Chanel's mother asked while she was washing the dishes. Chanel put her phone in her pocket and walked towards the door. She looked through the little window in the door before opening it. "Oh my god, Nonna!" She swayed the door open and hugged her grandmother.

Chanel sat on the kitchen counter as she was chatting with her mother and grandmother. "Michaela texted me, she asked if I want to go to a party tonight," Her mother looked at her daughter with a questioning face, "Well... Do you?" Chanel looked up from her phone and said no. "Well.. tell her no thanks, then." "Why, thanks?" "Because she asked you, and you're a polite little lady." "Mom, that makes no sense. I don't need to thank her." Chanel shook her head and her mother just shrugged her shoulders.
Chanel was finally about to text her friend back, "To: Michaela 'No' 12:41 pm" She hesitaded a little and looked at her mother who was in a conversation with her grandmother. 'thanks' She added before sending her text.

Chanel, her mother and grandmother were sitting on the couch together chatting about whatever and watching tv. Chanel was also doing her nails.
They heard a lot of noise outside before Jack came in. He wasn't alone. His brother and a friend were with him. Standing in the corridor, talking loud. There was also a boy with them, he looked about the same age as Chanel. His hair was brown, covered with a snapback. His eyes were covered by sunglasses and he had a sharp jawline. All Chanel could see of his outfit, was that he was wearing a black leather jacket.

The four men walked into the living room. "Boys, this is my fam. Nonna babe, Joan my wifey and her daughter Chanel," Chanel's grandmother made a disgusted face and shook her head. Her mother sent her boyfriend and the men a small, forced smile. The men greeted the ladies individually. Chanel stood up from the couch when the youngest man reached for her hand. They shook hands and sent each other a small smile. Chanel said her name and so did the guy, "Justin" He said, "Are you going to Max's party tonight? I mean, do you want to?" Chanel froze for a second, this boy is fast. "Uh, no thanks," She replied and shook her head. Justin laughed, "You don't need to thank me" He winked at Chanel before leaving.
