Licia POV
Zoe, Caitlin and I have been shopping for eight hours looking for things for the baby, my feet are killing me. "Guys can we just go already?" They both shake their heads and continue to pull me around the store until, I have bought a pair of shoes and an outfit for Daniella. "Can we please go now?" They nod and take me back home, "Why are the lights off?" They shrug and when, I turn them on my friends and family are standing in our living room, "Welcome to the baby shower!" I walk over to Troy who has his arms extended, "You did all of this?" He nods and then, looks over at our mothers, "With a little help. Okay let's play some games." He hands out a piece of paper that has three different names on them, "Okay. Circle which name you think it is and then, attempt to guess the middle name. First who gets it right gets the prize." Everyone starts writing on it and my cousin Alexis hands is hers, "Nope." She chose Amber Katherine as the name. Caitlin comes running up, "Daniella Rain!" I laugh because I figured she'd get it. I've always wanted to make my baby girls middle name Rain. "We have a winner." She gets a Yankee candle that smells like cinnamon buns, "Okay next game. Who wants to guess Licia's weight? I'm kidding. We have a word scramble." It takes like five minutes for Alexis to come up with the right answers but as the first one to complete it she got a necklace, "Okay last one. Guess the number of jelly beans in this jar." The closest one was Troy's best friend Jackson with 1,234 and the number be 1,355. "Okay everyone is free to eat." After, eating we open the gifts and I got about twenty outfits, eighteen packs of diapers and wipes, pacifiers, bottles, blankets, bibs, you name it. "Licia I've got one more surprise for you." Troy leads me down the hall to the spare bedroom and when, he opens the door I'm awestruck, "You made her a nursery." He smiles and nods, "Yep." I kiss him and he laughs, "I love you." I smile and shrug my shoulders, "I know." He just laughs and wraps his arms around my stomach as I take in the amazing room in front of me. I've got such an amazing husband and I know he'll make such a wonderful father to Daniella. "Oh one more surprise from our parents." He takes me down to the parking lot where my cavalier is usually parked, "They gave the cavalier to your sister and pitched in to buy us this." In its place is a shiny new silver versa. "Today just keeps getting better and better."Picture of the car and nursery... COMMENT vote Keep reading
