* It's been 3 months since you left us Kira, and it still hurts just as much as it did the day I found out. So this is the poem I wrote for the presentation I've had to do, where it truly hit us that you're never coming back. And I hate it*
Farewell my friend you're leaving,
It's time for you to go.
Your friendship was a blessing,
And we all will miss you so.
We shared so many secrets,
You brightened up my days.
You brought me so much happiness,
With your kind and loving ways.
If I had to describe you,
So many words come to mind.
Beauty, grace and quirky,
With a heart so pure and kind.
You were elegant and charming,
You always knew right from wrong.
And you truly were the melody,
To your all time favourite song.
"Clap, clap ,clap, clap"
Through all the ups and downs of life,
The good times and the bad.
From the start of Year 7 to the end of Year 9,
The greatest friend I'll ever have.
Please know how many lives you have touched.
These words are my present,
You are loved and missed so much.
