Seventeen

Ali POV

"I miss him," Rachel murmurs, hiding her face in her hands.

"I know, hun." I comforted, rubbing her back.

"He hates me now, doesn't he?" She asks as I hear the quiet sobs.

"I don't know really." She looked up at the boys on stage as they sang Everything About You.

"Come on Rach, let's go get you cleaned up." I said motioning to the bathroom and she nodded.

Louis POV

As soon as the last song ended, I ran backstage. Determined to find Rachel.

I needed her.

I wanted her.

I love her.

"Hey Lou, where are you going?" Harry asked from behind me.

"Um," I studdered, trying to think of an excuse "Uh, to the restroom. Yes. To the restroom. Be back soon."

"Um, alright then," Harry answered. I darted down the long hallway to the dressing room, maybe she's in here.

But nobody was in there. I didn't know what to do. I walked over to the white chair in the room and sat down and buried my face in my hands. Rachel I miss you. She had it all wrong, I didn't cheat.

I heard voices of two girls outside and I swung my head up just as the door opened to reveal Rachel and her other friend.They both got quiet and stared at me.

"Louis, what are you doing in here?You should be at the cafeteria getting lunch." Rachel stated.

"Uh just, doing something." I murmered. "Okay listen, Rachel I really have to talk to you."

"I'll just leave you two alone," Rachel's friend said.

"Um Louis, right now isn't the best time." Rachel answered.

"Please, you have to forgive me. You had it all wrong. Please let me explain." I begged.

She paused to think about it for a second. Then she sighed and said "Alright. Speak."

"Well, apparently I got drugged." I started. "And fainted, and pretty much got seduced by the girl who drugged me. Since you know, when you're drugged you do whatever someone says to do and I didn't want to do it with that girl. I loved you, only you. When you left me it felt like you just ripped my heart out of my chest."

She bit her lip, "Wow, now I feel guilty."

I sighed, "Do you forgive me?"

She nodded, "I'm sorry."

I went in for a hug and she granted it. We stood there for a while, just rocking back and forth. I missed Rachel. I missed these hugs.

"So, are you still single?" I asked, pulling out of the hug.

"Actually, no. I have a boyfriend named Brett."

A wave of jealousy washed over me. "Oh, cool. So, just friends for now?" I asked.

"Just friends." She confirmed with her award winning smile.
