Chapter 3:The concert

"Good morning mom, good morning dad, good morning Jacob!" " good morning Angel, are you happy because today is the first day of summer break and because at 4:00 we're leaving for the Taylor swift concert?" " yeah" I quickly had breakfast went upstairs and got my phone and texted Carly

C:hey dork
A:look I'm super sorry about ditching you for Cody
C: look, it's nice that you're trying to apologize but I can't forgive you we'll never be friends again
A: please
C: you should've thought harder about what could happen
A:can you at least be a little nicer to me
C: we'll be friends in 2 months and 1 week ok?
A:ok
A: wait what if one of my parents will give up their pass then I could bring you and Cody!
C: then we would be more than besties we'd be bffs!
A: I could ask my dad if he would give up his pass.
C:I have faith in you Angel

A: there's a chance I might be bringing Carly to the concert with us
C: how?
A: I'm going to ask my dad if he really wants to go. You cool with that?

"Hey dad?" " is it ok if you give up your VIP pass so I can bring Carly?" "I suppose so" " thanks dad"

I called Carly telling her the good news and that I'll be picking her up in an hour  " where is the concert?" She asked. " uh just the one in la so it's really close to us" I said bye and then hung up. It was then time to pick Carly and Cody up. I got in the van and off we went to pick up my BFF and boyfriend for the concert . We went to  Cody's house since he lives closer . Once we arrived at his house I knocked on the door and there was Cody looking handsome as ever. He held onto my hips I stood on my tippy toes to hold on to his shoulders and... We kissed  on the lips.piggyback miss" he said in a fancy tone. "Yay yay!!!" I said in a childish tone.
I hopped onto his back and he quickly ran to my van set me down in the middle seat and then he sat in the seat next to me. We tightly squeezed each others hands. Then we're on our way to  Carly's house. Once we got to Carly's house I insisted he comes with me to get her. We didn't let go of each others  hands but managed to get out of the van safely... Well a least he did I bumped my head getting out. " are you ok?" He laughed. I nodded my head, while still holding hands we ran across the street and up the stairs to Carly's door . " hey Carly" I said. I guess she saw that me and Cody were holding hands, I could see that hint of jealousy in her face.

"Hey" she said in a happy tone. We all ran back to the van I was in the middle and Carly was on one side of me and Cody was on the other. We finally were at  the concert . Me, Carly, and Cody got out of the van and ran to the big auditorium ahead of us. Once we got to the door we waited for my mom and Jacob once they got to the doors we all went in. We went and found our seats in the theatre this is the seating arrangement: Cody,me,Carly, my mom,and Jacob. Once we got seated the concert just started. The first performer was Charlie xcx who sang boom clap, fancy, and others. Then it was Shawn Mendes who sang: life of the party, something big, stitches, never be alone, and kid in love. The second last person who performed was Vance joy who sang riptide. Finally it was Taylor swift. I sang along to all the songs she sang which were : Shake it off, blank space, style, out of the woods,love story,22,everything has changed, we are never getting back together. Once the concert was over everyone came out onto the stage and took a bow.

Now it was time to go backstage, we all got out of our seats and showed the security our backstage passes. When we were inside we saw all the performers doing meet and greets.I got in line for Taylor first, Carly got in line for Charlie first and Cody got in line with me for Taylor. Once it was my turn to meet Taylor I went to her and said " hi it's so nice to meet you in real life" I said, she replied with " it's nice to meet you too what's your name?!" "Angel"  I told her, " that is such a pretty name" she said smiling. "Can I take a selfie and vine with you?" I asked, " sure" she said. I took a selfie with her and then a vine with Taylor in it with both of us singing the chorus of style. " you're good at singing" . Also maybe you could give me your number and we could talk on the phone. I gave her my number and walked away once we all finished meeting everyone we made our way back to the van and dropped Carly and Cody off then went home.
