Running Out of Time

Delirious's POV: 

Abbie was driving very fast. We took almost a full hour in the library. We pulled into the parking lot. She ran inside. I ran beside her. The lady at the desk yelled at us. "HEY YOU GOTTA CHECK IN!!" Abbie stook up her middle finger as she ran by. I started laughing as we ran. She looked back at me and yelled. "Elevator or stairs?" "Stairs!" "Shit really?" She ran through a rusty looking door. I heard her foot steps go farther and farther away. We finally made it up to the third floor. Abbie ran to Vanoss's room but stopped. I ran into her. "What's wrong?" "They're doing something to him." "What?" "There is a doctor in there." I tried opening the door. It wouldn't budge. The doctor looked at me. He shook his head no. He had some liquid in a needle. I started pounding on the glass. "STOP!" He got closer to Vanoss. I tried pushing the door once more. "AHHHH THIS BITCH IS WASTING MY TIME!" Abbie tried to open the door. "I have the key." "Really?" She felt her pockets. "Shit, it's in my scrubs. And we have no time to get them. It's 5:55." I got pissed. The doctor was about to put the needle in Vanoss. I ran backwards. "Delirious??" I ignored Abbie. "Delirious no!" I ran forward and smashed right through the door. The doctor jumped and dropped the needle. I dived for it on the floor. He kicked me on the floor right in the side. I let out a yelp. I saw Abbie look in my direction. She ran for the doctor and tackled him down. "Fuck you!!!" She started punching him. "I never!" She punched again. "Ever!" Another punch. "Ever!" Punch. "Wanted this stupid!" Punch. "Ass!" Punch. "Job!" On last punch but she never hit his face. The doctor grabbed her wrist. He kneed her in the gut and she stumbled backwards and fell on the ground. I got up. The doctor got up as well. His nose and lip were bleeding. He ran towards me and punched the needle put of my hand. I heard it scatter across the room. The doctor started punching me. "FUCK!" I punched back. He dodged. He grabbed a piece of the door that shattered. He held it up to my neck. I felt the piece of glass start to dig into my neck. I felt some blood start to trickle out. The doctor had a wicked look on his face. I saw a figure walk up behind him. Then I saw the needle in the side of his neck. I pushed him off of me. He fell on the ground. He started flopping around. Maybe he had an allergic reaction? I looked up and thought it was Abbie that stook the needle in the doctor's neck but when I looked up I saw those beautiful brown eyes. "Evan...?" He smiled. I stood up and hugged him. I was about to cry. Just to see him up was all I needed. I heard Abbie. She was sobbing. I broke Vanoss's hug. I helped him over to Abbie. She looked up at me. "Good fight huh?" She laughed lightly but then winced as she sat up. "Who's this?" Vanoss asked. "She's my nurse, my fighting buddy, my number one fan, and our friend." She smiled and waved. "Hey, I'm Abbie, if you haven't heard already, I love your guys videos. But lets meet and greet later. We gotta take care of something first." Abbie nodded towards me then pointed at Vanoss. "What?" Abbie looked at her phone. "That fight was 30 minutes long. It's 6:25. Delirious you have 30 more minutes until your true love is dead." "Delirious what is she talking about?" Vanoss looked at me. I sat him down on the bed. I sat down beside him. I sighed. "Look, Evan, I really need to tell you something." "You can tell me anything Del." "Well this may or may not ruin our relationship. I...I..." "Spit it out Jon, nothing will ruin our relationship." "Evan, I love you, more than a friend, and I know this sounds cheezy but I'm your true love. If I can do one thing to you, it'll make everything so much better." I smiled without crying and grabbed Vanoss's hand. "Jonathan..." "Yeah?" "I love you too." Vanoss hugged me. "And of course I wanna be your true love. I want you to be my true love." He stood up. "So what do you have to do to-" Before he could finish his legs gave out and he fell to the floor. I got up as fast as I could and caught him. Abbie jumped up and helped me put Vanoss on the bed. She had tears in her eyes. "Delirious, will it still work if you kiss him unconscious?" She said tears coming out of her eyes. I started crying. "There is only one way to find out." I sighed. I leaned into Vanoss's face. I adored the way he looked so peaceful but deep down inside he was probably in hell. As soon as I got to his lips I closed my eyes. BOOM!  Abbie jerked up. "What the fuck?" Five figures barged through the broken door. Luke, Marcel, David, Lui and one police lady I didn't know. All of this was wasting my time. I had to do it. I said fuck everything happening. I took my chance and was ready to save the love of my life.
