I turned off the engine, staring at the old torn down diner that laid empty, abandoned infront of my baby. I hit the steering wheel hard with my right hand.
Why did I play so hard to get?
I got out an slammed the door, shoving the keys into my pocket, my hands in fist at my side, I walked toward the dirt road of 69 and put my fist into my pocket looking up and the empty road.
No cars were to be seen, no people, no animals, no nature.
Just sand and dirt and road, the blue sky and the air.
I walked straight down that road, kicking my feet into the sand, as it went up into the air going into dust.
My white converse now covered in dirt and sand from the kicking, I groaned in frustration and kicked once more, hurting myself more than the ground.
It was silent, no bird, no cars, no planes. Total silence was only to be heard.
But barely, from far away you could hear the roar of an engine coming from behind me.
I turned my head slightly, expecting some vehicle to drive past me, going faster than the speed limit, but I was wrong.
It stopped infront of me on the side of the road, I walked to the window, my eyebrows scruntched up since I was in the middle of no where and they just appear.
"Need a ride, Stranger?" he chuckled, looking at me. A grin appeared on my fae and I nodded getting in.
"Drive to no where"
