Chapter 1

**Layla's point of view**
"Layla,come here." Liam called me from his living room.
I ran to him sobbing. My boyfriend, Cole, was cheating on me. We have been together for 5 years and he was like a brother to Liam. We were done now and i left his house.
"It hurts li" i sobbed.
"I know" he kissed my forehead and hugged me. "You know what lay? You can stay here as long as you want!" He said smiling.
"Thanks li!" I said and gave him an even tighter hug.
My phone rang. It was cole. Liam grabbed it out of my hand before i declined it. He answered it.
"Hello?"Liam said
"Liam what are you doing?" I panicked.
He held a finger up to shush me.
"Ehh Liam? Can i talk to Layla" cole said.
"No i think we have a bit of talking to do lad" Liam said.
**Liam's point of view**
"Liam come on let me talk to her i want to fix things" cole, Layla's ex boyfriend said.
"Layla! He wants to fix things!" I yelled.
"I NEVER WANT TO SEE HIM AGAIN!"she yelled back.
"She said she doesn't want to talk to you now, or ever."i told him.
"Liam just give the phone to her" he said.
"I cant do that lad. We used to be like brothers but you broke my little sisters heart. I cant speak to you anymore. You hurt her!" I yelled into the phone and hung up.
**louis' point of view**
I walked through the door and it looked like some one just died.
"What happened?" I asked and the other lads followed me in.
"Layla's boyfriend cheated on her." Liam said.
"Ohh erm. Is she ok?" I asked
"I don't know louis! Why don't you go check on her!" Liam yelled.
"Some one is grumpy" harry said.
"Its just that i hate seeing her like this and cole and i were close and i'm going to kill him for hurting her!" Liam said.
Layla walked in. Her tears were dried and she looked, nice. Her hair was up in a ponytail and she wore leggings and a baggy T-shirt that said "lay one finger on me and they will come" which referred to us as in if you hurt her we will come and protect her. She looked so hot.
"Hey Lou quit eyeballing my sister" Liam whispered in my ear.
"I wasn't" i said to myself.
"Help lay get moved in, her stuff is in the car" Liam ordered.
"Wait she is living with us?" Niall asked.
"Yes" Liam said.
We all walked out to get Layla's stuff out of her truck. We took thing in box by box and she put it in her room. I smiled at a picture of her and her horse,thunder. Man she looked so good on him and i knew She was going to miss him so much.
"Thanks Lou." She said taking the box out of my hand.
"You ok love?" I asked.
"Yeah. Im fine" she said trying to hold back her tears.
I knew for a fact she wasn't fine, not fine at all.
**harry's point of view**
We finished unpacking and we all sat down in the living room.
"Ill be back" Liam said as be tied up his shoes and walked out the front door.
i sat down next to Layla.
"You ok lay?"i asked.
"Yeah I'm ok i guess" she said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah"
She started playing with my hair and finally she put it up into a bun.
"That looks great!" I laughed.
"Shut up" she teased.
Louis gave me a deadly glare and i got up. His look scared me to death.
"Shes all yours" i whispered as i went into the kitchen.
**Layla's point of view**
I got a text from cole.
"Meet in the parking lot of the mall if you ever want to see him again and you know who I'm talking about"
Louis saw it.
"Come on we gotta go" he told the boys and we all got into my truck.
We soon arrived in the parking lot and Liam was on the ground and cole stood by his car with a deadly smile.
"Stay here" i told the boys.
"Well Layla, you look great."
I glared at him. "What did you do to my brother?"
"Im fine Layla!" Liam said getting up. "Go home"
"Im not leaving li!" I shouted.
Cole grabbed my arm and didn't let go.
The boys got out of the car.
"Let her go!" Louis yelled.
"And what are you gonna do if i don't Tomlinson?" Cole said.
"Just let her go mate!" Louis said.
"If you say so" cole let me go and i fell to the ground. He kicked my leg.
Louis tackled him out of no where. He took multiple punches and hit him every time. Cole got up his face bloody.
"You just messed with the wrong guy Tomlinson" he said. He hit louis in the face and louis fell down.
"Oh my god louis are you ok"i said rushing over to him. I held his head and put it on my lap.
"Im fine love" he said.
Soon harry got involved. He slammed cole against his car and cole fell to the ground.
I helped louis up and led him to the truck.
Then i went over to Liam who was fine. "Im alright sis"
"Liam James! You scared the living daylights out of me"i said hugging him.
"Im ok. I was just protecting you. I didn't intend to come out here and fight him. He followed me out here. he was coming for you lay!" He choked out.
"Thank you li" i said.
I went over to the truck to see how Lou was doing.
"How you doing Lou?" I asked.
"Im alright" he said looking at his fists.
"You've got a cut." I said getting a first aid kit out of one of my overnight bags.
I took his hand and bandaged it up. He looked up at me smiling.
"What?" I said smiling. I swear his icy blue eyes are the death of me and his smile, it kills me every time i see it.
"You" he said taking my hand.
"Me?" I said blushing.
"This might be too soon and i get it if you need time" he started and i cut him off.
I kissed him.
"Woah!" Niall looked at us.
I was sitting on louis lap and he was holding my cheek.
"You move on fast" niall said.
"Don't tell Liam!" Me and Lou both said at the same time.
Niall agreed as long as we took him to Nandos whenever he wanted.
"At least it wasn't Liam" i laughed.
Louis chuckled.
"So what are we?" He asked.
"Whatever you want us to be" i told him.
I blushed. "So there is an us?"
He smiled. "i mean if you want" he said .
"Yes." I smiled.
He took my hand in his and smiled. Louis kissed my forehead.
"Oh my god Lou let go!" I said as i heard Liam's voice getting closer.
I jumped off his lap and acted as normal as possible. Of course louis had to look all awkward.
"Emmm. Are you all right Lou?" Liam asked.
"Couldn't be better!" He choked.
"Ok" Liam said awkwardly. "Come on lay come home in my car." He took my hand.
I looked at louis and he waved and smiled. He blew me a kiss and i caught it smiling.
"Wait louis!" I said and pulled Liam to a halt.
"Here are the keys" i threw them to louis.
"Thanks love!" He said.
I got in the car with Liam.
"So how was it?" He said.
"What?" I asked.
"Your kiss! With louis!" Liam said.
I blushed. "How do you know!"
"Some one, not going to name any names, told me" he said.
"Niall!"i exclaimed.
"But anyways how was it" Liam said.
"Emmm, good i guess" i blushed.
"Come on i see the way you both look at each other! I also know that you just used cole as an excuse to not go out with louis!" He said with a smile.
Liam is like the sister i never had. He is always involved with my life and he lets me go on and on about my problems. He's the best brother ever!
"Ok it was more than good li! It was like fireworks went off in my heart and we had something that me and cole didn't" i gushed.
"I knew it! I knew you two loved each other the day you met him!"
"X-factor days" i said. It was so long ago well not really. Just 5 years ago!
Soon we got home and Lou sat on the chair outside the porch.
"Hello ba- emm laylaa" louis stuttered.
"Its okay louis, he knows" i said hugging him.
"And your ok with it?" Louis asked Liam.
"All i have to say is don't break her heart or else and keep her safe" Liam ordered.
"Thanks lad, i promise" louis said to Liam and gave me a squeeze with a kiss in the forehead.
"I cant watch this anymore" Liam joked and walked inside.
I smiled up at louis.
"Thank you" i said. "For helping with cole"
"Anything love, anything" he whispered.
"How is your hand" i said while i sat on his lap in the chair.
"Its better" he said looking down at it.
"Come inside, ill get you an ice pack" i said taking his hand and dragging him inside.
He tackled me onto the living room couch.
"When did that happen?" Harry asked.
"Today" Niall said.
"She moves on fast" harry replied.
"I can hear you!" I said as louis cuddled me in his arms. I pushed him off me. "You don't want that ice pack baby?"
"Yes please."he said pulling my arm as i got up.
"Lou! I need to go get it!" I said.
"But ill miss you!" He said with a pouty face.
"Then come with me!" I said.
He got up and followed me.
"Your such a baby Lou!" I teased.
He looked at me with a smirk.
"But your my baby" i smiled.
We were in the doorway of the kitchen. You could see us and hear us from the living room.
"How much longer is this going to go on for!" Harry said.
"Im going to lose my appetite" Niall exaggerated.
"Leave them alone guys" Liam said.
Louis looked at me. We both laughed.
I grabbed his hand and led him to the kitchen and shit the door, for the sake of harry and Niall.
Louis sat down at the table and i grabbed an ice pack from the freezer.
"Here baby" i said handing him the ice pack.
I went to the stove and boiled some water for tea. I got out two cups and sugar.
I let it boil and went to go wash dishes.
"Did anyone tell you you look beautiful today?" Louis said.
I smiled. "Yes. You did"
He smiled.
It was really quiet except for the football game in the living room and the boiling of the water.
I served both of us tea and gave one cup to him.
"Here love" i said handing it to him.
I started putting the pots back when louis made me drop them.
**harry's point of view**
I heard a bunch of pots falling and banging in the kitchen. I looked at Liam, shook my head, and pointed to the kitchen.
"You don't think?" He said.
"We will never know unless we go see" i said.
"I hate to interrupt but lets go see" Liam said getting up and heading towards the kitchen.
We opened the door. Pots and pans were every where. One in Layla's hand but the rest were just on the ground. Louis was holding Layla close and kissing her. It was kinda cute actually.
Layla with her messy bun and leggings and was that? It was! Louis' favorite sweater! He never lets anyone use it or even touch it! Anyways Layla had her arms around louis neck and she looked so perfect and so happy. They pulled away but were still hugging each other.
"Emm sorry to interrupt but, we heard a bunch of stuff falling and you know we thought..." Liam trailed off.
"Really guys?" Layla said
Louis looked at me and then at Liam.
"You know i wouldn't Liam" he said.
"Just making sure..." I said.
"Alright now shoo!" Layla said to me and Liam.
**louis' point of view**
"Help me pick these up love" Layla said.
I picked the pots up with her and gosh She looked so perfect with her messy hair and my favorite sweatshirt.
I kept gazing at her, i couldn't help it. Her straight brown hair and her bright green eyes, they were perfect.
"What?" She asked while blushing.
"Nothing, your just so beautiful" i said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Not so bad yourself Tomlinson" she joked.
"Oh you know I'm good looking!" I teased.
"Whatever floats your boat" she joked again.
I looked into her bright green eyes. "Your perfect" i whispered.
"I love you Lou"
"I love you too, more than words can describe" i told her, and it was true.
**Liam's point of view**
I truly didn't mind that Layla,my only sister, was in love with my band mate. I wanted her to be happy and if louis made her happy I'm happy for her!
It was 2:00 in the morning when she walked into my bedroom.
"Li? Are you up?" She asked.
"What is it lay?" I asked her.
"Im scared. What if cole comes for you guys again?"she said. She sounded like a 10 year old more than she did a 22 year old.Layla and i were twins, except i was born first therefore she is my little sister.
"Layla he's not going to hurt you i promise!" I said. "Now go lay down."
**Layla's point of view**
I walked out of Liam's room and walked into my room.
I got out my phone and texted louis.
**louis point of view**
I woke up to my phone making a noise. A text at 2:00 in the morning. It was from Layla.
"I miss you baby😘❤️"-Layla
I texted her back
"What are you doing up at 2:00 in the morning???"-louis
"Im just a little worried😖"-Layla
"Why???"-louis
"Cole..."-Layla
"He's not going to hurt you i promise. I wont let anything happen to you love😘❤️"-louis
"Cuddle me?"-Layla
I didn't reply i got out of bed and walked slowly and quietly to her room trying not to trip over boxes.
I lay down with her and brought her close to me.
"Nothing will ever happen to you Layla. I promise!" I whispered in her ear.
She fell asleep in my arms almost instantly and i fell asleep holding her.
