Chapter 12

-Louis' POV-
A few days later we were able to take the twins and Layla home.
We decided to stay at me mum's house since she insisted that we do. Also we were going to need lots of help, Layla and I both knew that.
"Good morning mum" I chirped as i walked into the kitchen and kissed her on the cheek.
"Good morning to you too handsome" she laughed.
"Do you need help cooking breakfast?" I asked.
"No, no its alright Louis, I've got it" She smiled and shooed me out of the kitchen.
I sat on the couch with Phoebe and Daisy.
"Good morning girls" I smiled.
"Good morning Louis" they said in unison.
"What the hell" I laughed.
"Its a twin thing" they both shrugged in perfect sync.
"Its creepy" I shook my head with a smile.
Soon Kenzie wobbled into the Living room.
"Daddy!" She exclaimed with a huge smile.
"Good morning love bug!" I laughed as i picked her up and set her in my lap.
"Good morning Kenzie, Give me a hug baba!" Daisy giggled.
Kenzie crawled off my lap and gave both girls a hug and a kiss on a cheek.
I smiled at her, it was the cutest thing.
A few minutes later Lottie and Layla entered the living room giggling and smiling about something.
They each had one twin.
"Good morning beautiful!" I chirped as i stood up.
"Good morning love" Layla smiled as i kissed her cheek.
I took both twins so that the girls could go help me mum cook.
I had one twin on each leg and Kenzie in between my legs.
"Talk about daddy duty" Layla joked as she took a picture.
"I can handle it" i shrugged.
"Yea, we will see about that" She laughed.
"Don't worry Layla, daisy and I will help" Phoebe reassured her.
"I think we should let Louis take on all three kids for one day" She laughed.
"Your on love! Daddy duty all day for me!" I challenged.
"Alright, whatever you say" she shrugged.
"I'll take her out too, just so her mother instincts don't kick in and she's tempted to help you" Lottie laughed as she left to he kitchen.
"Alright Lotts, we'll leave after breakfast, have fun Lou" Layla smirked.
"LOUIS!" Lottie yelled from the kitchen.
I left the twins with Layla and went to go see Lottie.
"Yea?" I asked.
"Sit down" She said.
There was a nervous look on her and me mum's face.
"Whats going on?" I asked.
"Mum has something to tell you that she should have told us all a week ago" Lottie sighed.
"Remember Alexis? You're other sister? She lives with Mark?" Mum asked.
I nodded.
"She's coming to live with us" She smiled nervously.
"Why is that such a bad thing?" I asked.
"Because her step mom messed her up a little bit" She sighed.
"What do you mean mum?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I mean she was abused, and i need you to keep her mind off of it and take her on tour with you" She smiled.
"I have to talk to Simon about it, but I'm sure it would be no problem since we have two tour buses" I nodded.
"I already talked to him about it Lou, he said it would be fine, anything to help our family" she said.
"When is she coming?" I asked.
"This evening, sorry for the short notice love" she gave me a crooked smile.
I nodded once more and headed back into the living room.
"Hey lay, my sister is coming on tour with us" I informed her.
"Which one" she asked.
"Alexis" I smiled.
"Wow, i haven't seen her in a few years" she laughed.
I nodded and texted my sister.
Me: Hey what time are you coming?
Lex: 4 pm
Me: ok see you then but we need to talk a little bit.
Lex: ok
"Alright love, you and Lottie can leave now i got it" I smiled.
"Wow kicking me out already!" She teased.
"I love you" i laughed.
"I love you too" she gave me a quick kiss and her and Lottie were out the door.

-Alexis' POV-
It was 4:00. Time to go to me mum's house.
My dad parked outside their house.
"Ready?" He asked.
I nodded.
He got out and carried all my luggage and belongings to the front door.
"I love you" he smiled as he gave me a hug and a kiss.
"I love you too dad" I sighed.
I entered the code to the door and walked in.
"Mum! Louis!" I called.
"LEXIE!" I saw a mob of my siblings coming at me.
"Oh god!" I yelped as they all hugged me.
When they finally let go I dragged my stuff into my room with the help of Louis.
"You wanted to talk" I reminded him.
"Right" he started,"As you know I'm engaged to Layla and obviously theres the twins and Kenzie, you know all that, but I'm talking about tour. You promise me you own't be any trouble?"
"Yes Louis, I'm not exactly in the mood to cause trouble. After being abused by your step mum, separated from your dad, and being dumped by your boyfriend, all you really wanna do is eat ice cream and try to be happy." I sighed.
"Im sorry Lexie" He hugged me "and as your big brother I'm going to help you get through this, your my little sister and i love you, you know that right?"
I nodded and hugged him back.
Soon there was a cry from the living room.
"Daddy duty calls" he joked.
I laughed and followed him out to the living room.
"Kenzie boo!" I exclaimed as i held my arms open for her.
"Lexie!" She smiled and wobbled over to me.
I hugged her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
I let her go play and i wandered into the kitchen.
"Mum" I cried as i ran to her.
"Hello darling" she said as she held me close to her.
I began to cry and i felt safe in her arms.
"I missed you mum" I sobbed.
"Shhh, its alright darling, I missed you too, but your okay now, your safe, i promise you love, its my job as your mummy to keep you safe" Her words soothed my broken heart and scarred soul. She was right, i was safe now.
"Why don't you sing for me darling?" She suggested.
I nodded and went to go grab Louis' guitar.
"What are you doing?" Louis asked.
"Mum wants me to sing her a song, its something to take my mind off things." I sighed.
He nodded and followed me into the kitchen.
I loved music and i loved singing. I didn't believe i was good but i always sing for me mum and family. Louis usually joins me too. Its a brother and sister kinda thing.
"One of your songs or my songs?" He asked.
"Mine" I smiled.
"Which one?" He asked.
"Well not one of my songs but a song of my choice" I laughed.
We sat in the living room as our entire family, except Lottie and Layla, sat around us.
"Shout out to my ex" I suggested.
He nodded and started playing the guitar.
"This is a shout out to my ex" i started.
"Heard he's in love with some other chick
Yea yea that hurt me ill admit
Forget that boy I'm over it
I hope she's getting better-"
"TEXTS!" Louis finished for me before I could say the actual lyric.
Our family laughed.
"Hope she ain't faking it like did baby
Took four long years to call it quits baby
Forget that boy I'm over it" I sang.
"Guess I should say thank you
For the hate yous and the tattoos
Oh baby, I'm cool by the way
Ain't sure I loved you anyway
Go 'head, babe, I'mma live my life, my life, yeah" Louis sang the next part.
And we sang the chorus together.
We kept going on like this the whole song.
"You'll never bring me down" i ended.
Everyone in our little supportive audience clapped.
"How was that mum?" I laughed.
"Beautiful, my two shining stars with beautiful voices" She smiled.
Louis and I laughed.
"Mum I'm not even that good, just be honest" I sighed.
"ALEXIS ELIZABETH TOMLINSON!" Louis exclaimed.
"Thats me" i joked.
"You have lots of talent and don't you ever doubt that. I'm serious. Thats coming from your big brother, who is also part of the worlds biggest boy band. Remember that!" He smiled.
"Thanks Lou" i laughed.

It was about midnight when the door bursted open and Layla and Lottie walked in. They were both knee deep in shopping bags when they set them all down.
"Holy shit" I muttered.
"ALEXIS!" Louis scolded.
"LOUIS!" I mocked him.
"ALEXIS!" Lottie and Layla exclaimed in unison as they rushed to give me a hug.
-Layla's POV-
I pulled away from the hug as i heard my phone ringing.
It was an unknown number but the area code was from Doncaster.
I went to Louis' bedroom and answered it.
"Hello"- Layla
"Its about time you answered" -Unknown
"Erm, who is this?"- Layla
"No one you need to know about" -Unknown
"What do you want! Who are you!" - Layla
"All you need to know is, be at the abandoned warehouse tonight at midnight. Not a second later or some one dies." -Unknown
And with that the call was ended from the other line.
My eyes widened. My heart raced. My breath was heavy and short.
"Are you okay?" Jay asked as she opened the door.
"Yea, yea, I'm uh fine" I lied.
She wasn't buying it but she left me alone anyways.
