Chapter 3: Smile

The next day, Ariana got out of a class and was heading towards her next one. "Ariana!"

'No way...' She turned around and saw Ichthys walking towards her with a grin on his face. Many girls were talking among themselves saying how hot he was. "What are you doing here at my college..?"

"I came to see you, obviously."

"Really? What's the real reason?"

"Ok you caught me! I just wanted to see where you go to school at. Do you also work?"

"Yeah. I mean how else am I going to pay the bills?"

A couple girls walked up to him with lust in their eyes. "Hey... You're really cute. Do you want to go out with us sometime?" The girls looked Ariana and glared at her. 'Whoa... Ok. Why are you getting mad at me for?' "Why don't you just leave your friend here and hang out with us?"

Ariana looked at Ichthys who had a playful grin. "Nah. I'll pass." He snapped his fingers, and water suddenly fell on the two girls.

"Ah! What the hell?!"

"Oh my god! My mascara is running!"

They quickly ran away in a wet mess, having people stare at them and snickering. At the same time, Ariana also snickered. "Nice one."

"Thanks! Those girls seemed catty anyway. I saw the way the looked at you, and I don't want to deal with that, you know?"

"Yeah you're-" She stopped talking as something caught her attention. "Oh great..."

"Huh? What's wrong?"

"It's my... Ex..." Ichthys looked where she was staring, and saw her ex being lovey dovey with his girlfriend near a class. "PDA... Gross."

"Hey... Do you want me to... Give him something?"

"Are you going to pull a prank on him?"

"I wouldn't call it that, he's just getting what he deserves. Watch this." He touched her shoulder, and snapped his fingers, and her ex's pants fell down to the ground. Ariana couldn't help but let out a snort. "Oh. I'm not done yet." He snapped his fingers again, and her ex's underwear went over his head. "I got plenty more where that came from." Once again, he snapped his fingers, and made her ex fall straight on his butt in a pile of syrup. "Would you like me to stop or keep going?"

"This is fun to watch. Amuse me more."

"I still have things to do." He snapped his fingers, and a pie flew right in his face. Her ex was trying to get up, but he was stuck on the ground because of the syrup. Snapping his fingers once more, he magically made glitter canons appear, and exploded all over her ex. "And here's the grand finale." The last time snapping his fingers, he had some mysterious liquid pour all over him.

"What is that stuff?"

"It's that stuff called slime."

They could hear her ex groan in annoyance and confusion, and they walked away from the scene, holding in their laughs. "That... Was awesome!"

"I did that to make you smile. My plan worked!"

"You did that, because you wanted to make me happy?"

"Yeah! The first time and the last time I met you, you didn't smile once. I wanted to see your smile, and you have such a nice smile! You should smile more often!"

'No one's ever told me that before...' "I'll try."

"That's good. Just don't give up, and don't let anyone take your smile away. Especially that guy that you used to have a thing with. He was actually on the punishment list."
