Bella's Life

Chapter 9

Edward's POV 

I am so angry with my self . Why the hell can't I keep my temper under control . Bella is right . I'm acting like her father , and I'm her brother . I'm in love with Bella and she does'nt know it . I want to be able to protect her every chance that I get . In a few days , me and my family are going on a hunting trip . Who will protect Bella ? Maybe she could go over a friend's house this week end . I check the time on my alarm clock . It was already 6:30 . Bella's gonna be late . I was already ready . I walked down the hall to Bella's room . I open the door quietly to peek in . I did'nt have to knock on her door during the weekdays in the morning because I knew she would be still sleeping . I walked in her room , the sweetest smell that I've ever smelled , burned my nose . I look down to see that Bella's nose was bleeding . I was mesmerized by the blood dripping from her chin . Bella smelled very differnt . She smelled even better than before . She smelled better than any other smell that I have smelled during my whole life span ! Just one taste could'nt kill you , Bella's blood seemed to sing to me . No ! I can't . I must not do it . I need to go to Carslisle ! 

It took a strain on me to leave from Bella's room . I had to run vampire speed down to Carslisle's office . I did'nt even knock . I burst inside his office , nearly knocking hinges off the door .

" Carslisle ! " , I exclaimed . " Something's wrong  " .

Carslisle got up imediately . " What is it son "

" It's Bella . Her blood . She had a nose bleed . I had left my room to awake her , and I went into her room . Her blood smells different . Her blood smelled so good that I wanted to rip her fucking throat open and  drain her life away . Dad what is wrong with me . I know she is my singer , but why does her effect on me different now more than ever " , I said .

Carslisle stared at me wide eyed . " I never had heard of anything like this case before . But son , you must grab on to that humanity inside of you , feeding into it saying that you know you can resist it , you know you are strong enough . Pack and get ready . We are going hunting so you can redeem yourself . We'll be back shortly . Bella asked me last week if she could go to the beach with her freinds . that should be a distraction . " 

" Yes father , I will do so " . 

I used my mind reading powers to contact everyone saying that we are going hunting and Bella was going to the beach today ...
