Trip to the BEACH

Chapter 4

"What's up girl why are you so excited ?"

"When I was going to the bathroom I bumbed into Felix and he said, he was looking for me. And the exciting part is he wanted me to go on a walk with him on the beach !"

"Omg that's awesome, when ?"

"He technically didn't say when but he said he will be waiting for me at his locker so he's probably waiting for me now."

"Omg, Sara I'm so happy for you !",she said hugging me and squeaking.

"But...uuum...a-are you going with these clothes ?",she said pointing at my wet short and my blue top.

"Yeah, why ? Does it look bad ?", I said a little disappointed.

"Noo..oo...oo. I thought you were...uuum...didn't you put this white dress in your backpack this morning ?"

"Yeah why ? Should I wear it ?", I said looking at my wet short.

"Probably.", she said whispering and draging me to the lockers.

When we came, I didn't see anybody. Everyone was eating since it was lunch time.

I took my bag from the locker and went to the bathroom.

I went in and Nadine was waiting outside. When I came out Nadine was looking in the mirror. She turned around and looked at me with wide eyes.

"Sara...you look soo pretty !"

"I do ?",I said turning around.

"Like I'm a lier now !"

We both went out laughing."look, there he is waiting for you.",she said pointing at him from far away.

"Oh god I'm so nervous."

"Ok here's the plan, I'm gonna wait here and you will go to him."
"What ?"

"Just go don't waist your time.",she said pushing me.

Every step I took made me more nervous than before. I had butterflys in my stomach. When I got closer I noticed that he was wearing the same clothes but he was looking in his phone.

"Oh, hey Sara."

"Hi, so this is your locker."

"Yeah, 164.",said Felix pointing at his locker."Where is your's ?"

"Mine is there. It's 172.",I pointed at the other side of his locker.

"Oh great. So your's is at the other side of mine !", he gave me a laugh.

"So you didn't tell me how old you were !",I said. We started walking towards the beach. He put his hand in his pockets and I was holding my phone in my hand.

"14, and you ?"

"13, but you look a little older than that, like 15 or 16 !"

"Really ? Well, I'm 14.",he said laughing.

I turned around and saw the lockers. They were faaar away.

"Did we really walk so fast that the lockers are so far away ?", I said looking at him.

"Probably. ", he said looking at the lockers.

"Is that the first time for you to come here or have you been here often ?"

"No, I have never been in Egypt but I really like it here and I don't wanna go !"

"same. I really like it here, too."

There was an awkward silence for a bit. Then I started talking to stop this awkwardness.

"So you're here with your parents ?"

"No, I'm here with my Dad. He's a three star diver and he really wants to be an Instructor."

"Oh wow ! That's great. And I guess you're a two star diver ?"

"Actually, no! It's weird caz everybody thinks I'm good only because my dad is good but no.",he said a bit annoyed.

"Oh. Didn't expect that coming. And why did you learn diving if you don't like it, I guess ?", I said confused.

"Well dad wanted me to learn diving for over a year now and I thought why not give it a shot and if I didn't like it I'll stop it but it seems that I'm liking it !", he said laughing at the last part.

There was silence for some some time."Why don't we go back, now ?"I said feeling a little awkward.

"Good idea !"
