Chapter Two

The next morning I woke up to quiet snoring next to me,turning around, I see Nathan,his mouth was slightly open letting him take deeper breaths as he slept,his left arm was draped loosely around me and his fringe slightly fell across his forehead, just like it did when he played. He started to stir before opening his eyes making me giggle. I moved closer towards him, wrapping my arms around his neck, causing him to smile. I looked him in the eyes than down to his lips, He started leaning forward before Christine barged through the door yelling.

"You've been called into Perth for pre season training"

Nathan turned to towards me with a big grin on his face.

"Are you up for a road trip".

"You bet". I squealed in excitement

A huge smiled appeared on my face, quickly giving him a kiss on the cheek I sprinted to the bathroom with my bag to get change. Stripping out of my pyjamas I changed into a fresh pair of undies and bra, than into my sky blue dress, I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun before walking out of the bathroom.

"Morning Sheridan". I smiled, Poking my head into her bedroom.

"Morning". She smiled back.

This was probably my second time going into Perth and I was excited! It didn't bother me that I lived three hours and forty five minutes away from Perth, I actually love it. Living on a farm in a small town keeps you humble, that's what I love about Nathan even though he spent a lot of time in the city, he still came back as humble like he use to be. I skipped towards Nathan's bedroom where I found him sitting on his bed.

"Are you ready". He asked picking up his car keys.

"Yep". I replied.

On the way out I quickly grabbed my phone from the couch than hurrying over to his silver ford FG, I jump in the passenger, did my seat belt up and off we went.

"Are we there yet". I whined.

"Soon". He mumbled

I slouched back into the chair, Summer time sadness was quietly playing on the radio. winding down the window, the humid air started flowing through the car causing my lose strands of hair, to flow every where. It was relaxing watching nature go past in a flash, a few houses turned up here and there as we drove through the small towns. I looked up at Nathan giving him a smile, he smiled back at me before going back to focusing on the road.

A few hours past and we finally reached our destination.Pulling up into one of the parking bays outside the Fremantle oval.I quickly Grabbed my phone out of the centre console before opening the door so we could both enter the football ground.

"Fyfey over here". One of them called.

I trailed behind Nathan, as he walked up to three boys. I Stood a few inches back, letting him talk to his friends.I pulled my phone out of my pocket revealing a text message from Scarlett.

From Scarlett the Spider:)

Hey GF,
How was your Night, Hows,Nath is
he good?

I was about to reply back when I 'rudely' got interrupted by Nathan calling me over, I walked over with a slight smile spread across my face.

"Guys this is my Best Friend Anna".

Oooh that hurt. I'm stuck in the friend zone.

"And Anna, This is Matt, Lachie and Hayden". He smiled, pointing to each one of them.

"Hey". I smiled shyly, giving them a small wave.

"Oii Nath, she's hot as fuck". Lachie smirked, causing me to blush.

Nathan scoffed before sending him a dirty look, he gave me a quick smile before telling me to sit over where a group of girls were sitting. I walked across the field to where the group of girls were standing, I took a seat next to a girl with long dark blond hair.

"Hi I'm Rachelle".The green eyed girl introduced her self.

"I'm Anna". I replied.

"Who are you with".

"Nathan".

"Girls, We have finally met fyfeys girlfriend". She beamed.

"Best friend". I corrected her.

She gave me a slight frown before Introducing me to some of the guys girlfriends. She first Introduced me to Kate who was Chris Mayne's Girlfriend, Than Dave's Girlfriend Sally. They were all really sweet, once I started to get to know them. Rachelle was telling me, how her and Matt only just got married last year, after being together for more than eight years. We were than soon interrupted by Kate yelling out that Nathan was looking at me. Embarrassing.

"He was probably looking to see how I was going, Besides we only like each other as friends". I smiled.

"You can think that all you want sweetheart, because its not true". Sally chirped.

"But doesn't Nat have a". Rachelle began before getting cut off by Matt giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm guessing, you've finished". I asked walking up to Nat.

"Yeah". He panted. "Is it alright if we stay in Perth tonight".

"Of course".

I'm thinking about writing another book about Nathan with a little bit of more meaning to it.
