Prompt: Sam and Dean have a little sister, who happens to be lesbian, what happens when she tells them and wants to introduce her girlfriend to the family?

Anria doesn't want to sneak around with Leah anymore. She loves her girlfriend, has spent the entire summer in love with the kind woman who's giggles and smiles send shivers down her spine.

She knows she needs to introduce her girlfriend of six months to her older brothers. They promises each other at three months that if they were still going strong in three months time that the introductions to Anria's family will happen. But she's nervous, unsure about how her protective big brothers will react.

"Uhm, Sammy? De? Can I ask you something?" She asks. Her voice uncertain and scared. Sam and Dean look up from the books they're reading, research for another case. Sam's eyes are concerned but his face holds a friendly, open smile. Dean openly displays his concern, wanting to know what has his little sis so freaked out.

"Course you can Ria, what's up?" Sam asks back, using the nickname she hears daily from the younger brother. Dean pats the seat on the couch between him and Sam. Anria nervously sits down, perching on the edge of the sofa rather then relaxing into it like her brothers.

"Breathe kiddo, whatever's got ya riled up, we'll take care of it together" Dean soothes, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her back into the couch, close to his side. Sam reaches out and gently trails his fingers up and down her arm, knowing it's relaxed her since she was a little kid.

"I've been seeing someone, and they want to meet you guys" Anria says quickly, not making eye contact with either brother, she keeps her gaze locked on the floor, waiting for the explosion of anger, especially from Dean. But all that happens is Dean and Sam chuckle.

"We know kid, you've been sneaking in and out of the bunker since summer started, not a big deal" Dean says, surprisingly calm. Sam just nods in affirmation. Anria looks up to meet Sam's gaze first, his expression calm and he's smiling, he's happy for her! Anria realizes before looking to Dean, who wears a smilar expression, with a hint of caution in it.

"Well if the guy is brave enough to want to meet him, then he can't be too bad" Sam jokes, poking Dean in the side. Anria's smile drops, she fears what their reaction will be to the next part. Dean laughs for a moment before realizing how put out his sister looks.

"What's wrong Ria? Are you okay!?" A hint of panic leaks into his voice and he sits up to wrap his arm fully around her, the other hand reaching up to feel her forehead, is she sick? Sam leans forward to see her expression, resting his hand on her back soothingly.

"No, I'm fine De, just what if, hypothetically, it's not a guy I'm worried about introducing you guys to?" She asks. Looking at Sam rather then Dean while she says this. Sam frowns in confusion for a moment before an 'oh' look forms on his face and he looks behind Anria at Dean.

Anria drops her gaze back to the floor, feeling her anxiety start to kick in, tears flood her eyes and her chest heaves in short breathes. The brothers are instantly thrown into protective mode and Sam pulls her into his lap while Dean gets to his knees in front of her so he can wipe her tears.

"Woah, woah, breathe kiddo, you're alright, we're not mad, you're okay." Comforting words are immediately spilling from the eldest Winchester's mouth while Sam holds her head to his heart and rubs her back with his other hand, his heart beat and deep breaths slowly pulling their little sister back into a calm state.

"There ya go Ria, it's okay, everything is okay" Sam soothes gently. Anria gets her breathing back under control but doesn't try to move from Sam's arms. Instead, she focuses on Dean's face, his eyebrows creased with worry but his eyes alight with kindness, not a hint of anger.

"Ri, you're our little sister and we'll always love you, nothing will ever change that, I promise" Dean says slowly, letting his message sink in. More tears flood her eyes, but not of fear or sadness, out of love for her two brothers. Dean pushes himself back up onto the couch to hug his little sister kindly, Sam retracts his arms from her to let Dean scoop her out of his lap and into his own.

"And Ria? We'll always support you in any choice you make" Sam adds, smiling as she looks up shyly from where her face is buried in Dean's chest. She gives him a relieved and thankful smiles before turning her face back to snuggle close to Dean

"Thanks Sammy, thanks De, I love you" she mumbles against Dean's chest. The brothers chuckle and Dean runs his fingers through her hair, kissing her head gently. Sam reaches out to rub her arm a few times gently.

"Love you too" they reply in sync.

Two weeks later Anria brings Leah home to meet her brothers, the anxiety returning and she worries if the rules are still the same, will her brothers threaten Leah? Are they going to be nice? Her worries are immediately forgotten when she walks into the house. The smell of a roast wafts up to meet them, along with Sam, dressed in a black and white flannel with blue jeans.

"Hi! You must be Leah?" Sam asks, reaching out to bring her in for a hug, his kind smile enough to relax Leah. Anria smiles in relief and stretches up to hug her brother, dragging in a deep breath of his scent that relaxes her immediately.

Dean turns around as the group enter the kitchen, he's wearing a brown tee shirt with an unbuttoned blue flannel over top and blue jeans. He grins warmly and opens his arms for their new guest, winking at Anria. Just then, there's a flutter of wings and everyone turns around to see Castiel, he's traded in his trench coat for a black dress shirt, slacks and a red tie.

"CAS!!!" Anria exclaims joyfully, leaping forward to hug Cas tightly. Her smiles kindly and wraps his arms around the youngest Winchester to hold her up. It's been a couple of months since he's been around, heaven's being a bit problematic.

"I couldn't miss this, meeting the one who owns little Winchester's heart" he states, reaching out to shake Leah's hand when Anria is safely back on the ground. Sam turns around to pull the roast out of the oven while Dean walks forward to hug Castiel

"Good to have ya back Cas" he says. Everyone sits at the table and food is passed around, along with laughs and stories. Leah fits right in with Anria's little family and she finds herself smiling, no grinning at the way everyone interacts. Leah looks around at her girlfriends family and hopes nothing ever happens to her relationship.
