Kingdom Hearts: A New Keyblade

Chapter 6: ~First Mission~

After finding out that I am the next keyblade wielder...so many things were happening all at once that my mind can't keep up with the details. The keyblades, Oathkeeper & Oblivion are in my possession with the hearts of my own.

Somewhere in the distance, a portal that contained large amount of darkness than we experienced before so they went and investigate why a gate opened in Twilight Town. Nodding our heads in agreement and went our way to the destination.

"Seems this is the perfect chance for a mission and test out the new skills" Riku slightly grins as if he planned this whole idea.

Axel interrupted by confirming that we need to head towards the town. "Okay, split into teams. Sora, you are with me; Riku you can go alone or with Mizuki. I don't really care what your decision is. Let's go and save the town!"

For being the first assignment for Mizuki became really nerve wracking and clearly unknown how to fight or defend herself from the heartless but Riku will do anything if I ask him...but should I trust him? I didn't want to take my risks to lose and have this world destroyed.

"R-Riku....may you teach me how to harness this power of mine? I don't want to be a burden if you, Sora and Axel do all the fighting" my tone of voice caught Riku's attention and he just smiled.

"Of course I will teach you but under one condition"

"Which is....?"

He smirks and grabs my arm with a strong grip then whispers in my ear. After the condition was heard, my eyes widen then quickly turned around to meet with the others. Glances up at Riku's hand and sees a glimpse of chains in the palm of his hands...

"Riku, what's the meaning of this?! What are these chains for? Let's go and help Sora and Axel to defeat the heartless in Twilight Town!!"

I am very worried about them but what can I do....I can't even summon my own keyblades within me. I guess there is one way to free myself from this situation is to fight him.

We both summoned our Keyblades to fight to the finish but someone thought different. Oathkeeper & Oblivion soon to glow brighter than ever as if the darkness will overcome the hikari. Searching for a tactic to demolish the chains without injuring Riku, my body felt weaker aligning with my heartbeat. Fell to the knees as if my life absorbed directly from inside.

Meanwhile Sora and Axel finally defeated all the heartless side by side but Riku and I never arrived to aid them for support. Worried that along the way an accident occurred without noticing so both decided to head back. In the distance, anyone can hear the clashing of blades as if a battle for your life will end here and now. Before they took a step, more heartless emerged from the ground once more.

"Will these ever GO away?! We don't have time for this! Mizuki might be in trouble as we waste time here fighting!" Axel yelled as loud he can go while Sora just ignored the complaints from his companion.

Chains were still rattling when Riku make a small movement before dashing for the kill. With the blurry eye site, I stood up with hikari surrounding me like a barrier. Both thoughts are the same; to finish what we started before going to Twilight Town.
