The Underdog

It's amazing how the weakest people, or the people with the most problems, latch on to something so strong.

There is a toddler in one of my classes, who I'll just call Jordan, who has hematoma. Hematoma is disease that causes people to bruise easily and to bleed more than normal should they get a cut. Now Jordan in about 2 1/2 ft tall, has blonde hair, and beautiful blue eyes.

And you know what his favorite color is? 

Green. 

Why? 

Because hulk in green. 

Jordan has to have shots twice a week so he always has Band-Aids on his arms. Whenever he falls or is hit by other kids, we have to check him all over and watch to make sure he doesn't form any abnormal bruises.

This child is weak in one of the most inconvenient ways possible for a young boy. And yet he will stand up tall, lift his fists to the sky, and roar at the top of his lungs like the hulk.
