You got out of your bed and slipped on a pair of slippers. The bright light seeping through the curtains. You couldn't think of anything, drowsiness took over everything. You headed for the washroom to clean your teeth. As you took your personal toothbrush and squeezed some tooth paste onto the  brittle area. Your eyes averted up to the mirror, they widened as you witnessed the moment.

'W-what is this?' you staggered back staring at your reflection. Your eye had become completely black with only an light purple pupil in the middle. You moved your hand slowly and touched your eye lid gently. Nothing happened. There seems to be no damage in your vision, actually it was the opposite. Many things were a lot clearer then it use to be.

"What should I do?!...should I tell mum and dad?". You shook your head to dismiss the idea.

'They are busy I don't want them to worry, I should just visit the doctors as soon as I can...what about school? I have an exam today'.

Your eyes traced around the room searching for something that would help. Your eyes eventually stopped when you spotted a roll of white bandages sitting on the marble counter table. You swiftly grabbed it and began wounding it over your left eye, keeping it hidden from other's vision.

'This isn't too bad, I'll just say I hurt my eye yesterday, I wonder if they'll believe it ...why do I have to stress about this? I wonder if the doctor would actually be able to help me".

You made your way down the stairs looking over your shoulders every few seconds. When the coast was clear you slowly made your way towards the entrance. You could hear the sound of something sizzling in the kitchen, the smell of fried eggs drifted from inside and towards you. You turned around checking if your mother had decided to walk out into the corridor. No one was there

'Why is she up so early out of all days?'

You turned back around and slipped on your black school shoes as quietly as you could. Afraid of making a single sound. You stood up and reached for the door knob

'I'm almost there'

Relief washed over you as you opened the wooden, brown door.

"(y/n) why are you up so early".

You froze not daring to turn around.

"I have an...morning exam!" you quickly replied before your mother could become suspicious.

"Aren't you having breakfast, you haven't eaten my breakfast in ages", she said.

"I'm sorry..."

You could feel your mother getting closer to you, she placed her hand gently onto your shoulder. You shivered. It wasn't that you were afraid of her but what she'll do if she found out about your eye.

'She'll probably faint when she sees it..'

"Whats that whit-", she began but was cut off by your nervous laugh.

"What are you talking about ahaha, anyways I've got to go, you know how teachers are like! bye~", you blurted out. You swung open the door and ran outside.

'I'm saved~'

Your pace slowed down as you got further away from your house.

'How am I suppose to survive school, people are probably going to question me' You sighed out loud. You looked over to the river which you had passed yesterday afternoon. A image of the blonde, amber eyed boy appeared in your mind.

'I wonder if he was real, he seemed real'

When you finally arrived at school, you hesitantly entered. Students whispered to each other and gave you quick glances as you passed them. You keep your head down, covering your face with your bag. When you got to your room you sat down onto your desk, avoiding any eye contacts.

"Why do you have bandages over your eye?"

You turned around to face president.

'Should I tell him? he probably would think I'm playing a joke on him'

"It's nothing..." you replied turning back around.

"It's obviously something, I want to know, so tell me"

"Geez, my eye got injured last night okay? now leave me alone, i'm tired..."

"Can I see it the wound or are you lying about it", he said as he continued to pester you.

"I'm not lying there is something wrong with it!" you blurted out suddenly but then regretting, you covered your mouth.

"So there is a problem" President said,"let me see".

'So persistent. Can't he just leave me alone' You unwrapped the wrapping and opened your left eye. The president looked at you with confusion.

"Theres nothing wrong with it, there isn't a injury", he said as he inspected your orb.

"huh?"

"I looks normal to me", he restated again,"or is it your vision that has been damaged?"

"Ah...Ahaha, got you, I was joking!"

"Why are you being so weird today, you aren't usually like this...", President said as he looked at you as if you had said something odd.

You ran down the stairs and through corridors towards the toilets. You starred at yourself in the mirror. It was still there, the odd, darkness still sat in your eye. The purple pupil seemed to even glimmer more now. Something was strange. You clenched your hand and stuffed the white bandages into your pocket. Taking a deep breath before exiting the lavatory. Oddly enough nobody looked at you with their strange expressions. You spotted a close friend, (F/n) walking down the corridor. You held up your hand to greet her as she got closer. (F/n) simply gave back a smile and a wave before continuing to walk down the hallway. You watched her leave with disbelief. She didn't see it. You returned back into your classroom, people looked up at you but then soon continued their business.

'Whats happening to me, what happened to my eye, what should I do, maybe I'm hallucinating but it cant be. You rubbed your eyes roughly staring into the reflection in the window. It wasn't clear but you could still see it. The abnormal, slight twitching in your eye. It is alive.
