The reason why I wrote so.on

This chapter will talk about author's story about why she wrote so.on. To ease the confusion and hope the reader's curiosity will be answered...

The name so.on

so.on project is not a girl group in Japan (which it really exists) but my fictional boy group

If I made So.oN (this is the format name of the girl group) a bad name, 私は本当に申し訳ありません I'm truly sorry

last 2014, I was deciding a name for a collaboration group and I decided to put a dot "." between Master Christopher's wife named Soon. Let's say that out of love, Christopher named the collaboration project for his wife ... as a gift

months after I searched "so.on" in Google, I only found out So.oN project is a girl group, non-fictional/real girl group T~T . I should have done research and editing, but I was too late

The so.on project

the project is like AKB48 Senbatsu Election - an annual event where fans can vote for their favorite member, analogous to a popularity contest. The members who receive the most votes are announced on the day of the election, but votes are submitted beforehand. (cr: stage48)

in so.on, it's almost the same but it's only limited to 13 or 16 or 20 (unlike Senbatsu Election that it reach 80).

If you're still confused, think of a Senate election in your country, but the difference is, fans buy CDs or tickets to vote for their favorite member to be part of the big Astral project (so.on) line-up, if your favorite member is lucky he can be a center

Why the character are all boys?

for a change! since I'm tired of using girls as a main character and main antagonist.

Why I chose Kita, Japan?

I can't have Philippines as a setting for idol or J pop-esque culture don't exist here at all. So I made Japan as a setting. Kita is a ward in Tokyo. If I'll make it into Kpop like, it's weird to have election and during the time I was writing so.on, I'm more exposed to Jpop than Kpop.

Foreign names

In my opinion, Japanese names tend to be long and confusing, so I made Foreign names as their stage names.

Real Story

My fascination of idol, horror and my high school experience made me write so.on.

This story is based from my high school years. When there were popularity contests or honors or favoritism (so.on project election); factions or cliques (Y-san, Levo and 1004); mean people (bullies); Top 1 (center); and the whole class (so.on project)

I'm thankful that what happened to me wasn't too much, but I still can't forget (even I forgive them) about what happened to me during that time. I also performed a lot of singing, dancing, speech choir, acting there. So it's really like so.on.

If I am the character, I would be SEI or Han Rui. That time, I was weird, childish, quiet, sometimes talkative, bullied by classmates or students, disrespected by juniors, pressured, helped, admired, rejected and they thought that I was a crazy person. Unlike Han who was popular, well I'm not!

like Han, I acted as if I'm cute haha!

My sister (Enlai) had a love-hate relationship during that time. I thanked God that we're fine and closer than before. Like the twins do.

She had a classmate/best friend (Froilan) who I hated the most. I wrote an entry in Filthy Truth that Kevin betrayed Enlai and it happened in real life.

There was a boy (Ninglan) who played my heart. You know what happened to Ninglan? That's what I'm going to do if someone played my feelings again! Grr!!

There was a sissy guy (Christopher) who did nothing but to ruin my high school life. He ruined my love life, my good name, such a theif! He even betrayed my sister that piece of sh-t! I wanted to do something to this guy, but I just harmed him in my story so I'm fine with that

So, what SEI did to Froilan and Christopher last October 2, that's what I wanted to do to them

The top bestfriend (Mark and Stefano) were killed by Froilan. But what happened in real life was this Froilan tried to compete with these top duo, but lost.

There were a lot of childish classmates (1004 members, etc.) during my time, gah! such a baby!!

especially one person (Martin) who was too insecure that I'm younger than her. She's a brat and too stupid in terms of love.

There was a boastful classmate of mine (Francis) who was too conscious of his looks and acted like he's more attractive than me! I'm prettier now! What's your face now!?

the rest (Alexander, Rion, Yul, etc.) some of them are nice and some are not. If Alex, Rion, Yul, etc. died in Astral bombing, blame SEI instead!

because bombing means my high school life is over for I graduated!

there are people who disliked me during my college years, those mean girls (Dream Boys members who died during Astral Tokyo bombing). But it was temporary, they became kind to me because I'm really kind to them

--inserting Filthy Truth entry-- I had one in elementary days like Mina had Han during her high school days. Like Han who has Dongjun or Mina who have Dani and Minwoo, I got a best friend too during high school/college days. --end of Filthy Truth entry--

Honestly, I dislike my classmates and I hate some of them. I want to express my anger to them, I want to make a revenge, but I can't do it. I hate bloodshed or physical harm. So I express my feelings through writing this story.

It was brutal and I don't care! That only means that those cause of deaths in so.on were the degrees of my anger during my high school days.

I'm grateful that notepad/wattpad is not a death note. I'm human and has not right to take someone's life.

Forgive me for giving you chills today. What's important is I'm relieved and you're questions are answered.
