The Bad Boys Best Friend.

Hello people of earth! I have re-written this book. Hopefully it reads better than it did before. Love you! Enjoy.

It was a Thursday. I remember because....Well actually.... I have no idea how I remembered it was a Thursday. But it was. The sun was glaring through my open window as I put the last bit of mascara onto my eyelashes. Considering we were in England it was pretty odd that we had temperatures about 15 degrees.

I heard the horn beep outside as I wiped the tear that had fell from me stabbing myself in the eye with the stupid mascara wand. I walked over to the window and stuck my head out searching for the familiar car I had been waiting for. "Calm down! I'm coming! Gosh" I shouted as the wind blew my hair into my face, I could practically hear my best friend's eyes rolling.

"Just hurry up. I need to get my wheel fixed." Mateo shouted back his voice gruff. Mateo is my best friend. We met in a detention in the middle of primary school and have pretty much been inseparable since then. Turns out that his mom and my dad had been pretty close before this so it was inevitable we would meet, be friends, and I would have to deal with him being the biggest pain in the ass ever.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag off my bed, before sliding my long brown hair into a messy bun and putting my phone in my pocket. Satisfied with the 'I don't really care how I look' look that I was going for I strolled down the stairs making Mateo wait. He was one of the most impatient people I've ever met.

Whilst taking my relaxing stroll through my house, enjoying the photos on the walls and the fascinating patterns in the carpet I managed to be side tackled by my older brother, Eli.

"Move fatty!" I said, trying to push him off me as he continued to block all means of escape.

"How about you make me?" He countered putting more of his weight on my stomach and slightly suffocating me during the process.

"I'll make you cry again." I said teasing him and trying to get him off through my amazing tickling skills.

"That was once and I banged my head at school before so when you hit me it was very painful." He pouted, finally getting off me.

"Yeah. And Justin Bieber is ugly. It's all liieeeees." I sang grabbing my bag and running before he could catch me again.

"Man you made it too easy. I was looking forward to blackmailing you" I said continuing to run down the stairs and skipping to the kitchen.

I picked up a ready-made bagel mom must have made took a bite. I then continued to spit it back out onto the table because there was avocado in it. If there's one thing I hate its avocado. "Bye Mom. See yah dad. I hate you Eli." I shouted to my family as they all replied there needed responses and I locked the door behind me.

I ran up to Teo's sleek blue convertible and threw open the door throwing my bag into the back seat. To be honest it was more my convertible, I used it more driving Mateo to random places. It was pretty impractical though. It rained 99% of the time here so it was rare we had the top down, however, due to the lovely weather it was down and my hair, determined to ruin my life, had removed itself from my bun and was whipping me in the face.

"Earth to Jessalyn." He waved his hand in front of my face, effectively snapping me out of my daydream. I continued to try and tame my thick hair as I looked at him.

"What?!"

He smiled widely and ran his hand through his hair.

"What?!" I whined as he sped off down the road of neat white houses. I knew he was going to ask me to do something stupid for him, and, although Ill whine, ill break and do it anyway.

"I said I need you to break up with my girlfriend." He said purposely not looking at me but trying to smile innocently. But, I wasn't that gullible.

"Again?! Seriously?! I thought you and Tandi were "Together forever."" I said emphasizing forever for effect. He rolled his eyes at me again.

"Do you have a problem with your eyes?"

"No." He said grudgingly, knowing I was about to say something that some may class as violent.

"Okay. Well I suggest you stop rolling them before I scoop them out with a spoon and make you eat them with ice cream."

"WOW. I'll never get sick of your cruel and unusual punishments." He said grinning at my threat. "Please, please, please Jess I'll-" I interrupted him mainly because he was giving me the puppy dog eyes and not watching the road. And he drives like a maniac anyway.

"Shut up and hand me your phone."

He laughed and pulled his phone out and threw it in my lap. I glared at him.

"You are such an idiot to all these girls. You better hope they don't revolt." I said finding Tandi's number and starting a new message.

"They wouldn't. I'm like a God to them." He said with that stupid arrogant grin on his face.

"Only because they don't know you. I'm just saying. I wouldn't want to be one of them girls."

Little did I know that later on that year, I would be.
