Stuck in a video game

Chap 3: My guild leader hates me

I woke up in a sunny day on a grass valley. This was the first time I had slept in the game. I mean I knew that you could sleep in the game I just had never done it before. I got up and looked around. My scythe lay beside me and I saw two of my three of my other RD friends sleeping next to me. I yawned. We had a big day ahead of us,I had to prepare for the planning and raiding. I saw the sun start to rise so I guessed it was about 5:30. I realized Shiriu wasn't there so I walked around and went looking for her. She was usually a morning person and liked to walk around in the morning. I did not wan't to disturb her so I did not activate group mic,plus if I did that I would wake up the others. We we're in grove valley in world 2 so there should be a marsh nearby. The Rayven guilds base was to the west and the marsh was to the east. We were in between. I headed towards the marsh and there right on the money was Shiriu jumping on rocks and walking around. I decided to play a prank on her and snuck up on her. She hates this monster called Riptounge. the Riptounge is a green swamp beat with one eye and enormous tongue. I used my earth transformation to make it look like I was one of them.

Shiriu was sitting on a log in the middle of the marsh. I sank into the marsh and swam towards her. Once I was directly under I blasted out of the water. I grabbed her leg with what looked like a Riptounge tounge but was actually my scythe and pulled her under the water. She screamed then instantly flew out of the water and back onto land. I chuckled and then she figured it out.

"Skillerboy!" she yelled. I chuckled some more then winced at the fact that Shiriu had probably woken the others up. I popped my head out a little bit to see the sight. She was covered with green slime and mud.

"Your'e dead!" she cried. She shot an enormous fireball at the marsh which sent all the goo/liquid flying into the air. I as well flew into the air and I saw the devious expression on her face. I spawned in a vine to take me away but that did not stop her. She flew after me with her enormous dragon wings every once in a while shooting fireballs. I was starting to get nervous so I spawned in Earth Guardians to stop her. But she simply cut them down in a few chops. Then the even more frightening part was when she turned into her full dragon form. She was enormous and almost in arms reach. I gulped. I could not beat her while she was this angry I had to call for help. I turned on group mic.

"GUYS SHIRIU IS GOING TO KILL ME!" I said.

That seemed to get their attention and a minute later they were trailing Shiriu.

"Hey buddy" Silver said trying to calm Shiriu down. Shiriu just grunted back.

Pocky sen't me a private message saying "You really screwed up didn't you"

"Yup" I replied.

"Hey guys I have an Idea" private messaged Ariana. "Lets go to Rayven headquarters". There was silence after that. Ir was a pretty good idea though. The Rayven headquarters offered protection to anyone who was a Rayven memeber. I wondered if they would protect a member from a member.

"Lets do it" I private messaged Ariana,Silver and Pocky.

I veered right towards the base and it kind of threw of Shiriu but she regained balance. I guessed that made her angrier. The base was getting closer and closer. I used all of my courage and jumped off of the vine and under Shiriu. There was a side entrance towards the end of the base. Shiriu wouldn't be able to fit through in her dragon form so I ran as fast as I could to get there. Shiriu flew a few seconds in the wrong direction then realized I was gone and turned my way. Silver,Pocky and Ariana were at my side. We ran as fast as we could,except for Pocky she flew. It did not take Shiriu long to catch up again. We finally reached the entrance and we slid through. Once were on the other side of the wall I heard Shiriu slam into it.

"Phew" Ariana said. I did not realize it but I was sweating for the first time in the game. I didn't think it was possible.

"Ouch" I heard Shiriu mutter.

"Are you ready to calm down?" asked Silver.

"Yes" Shiriu panted as she slid under the wall.

"Alright maybe we should go find the boss"suggested Ariana.

"Yeah he probably has some advice for our situation" responded Pocky.

We didn't have to find the boss because he came to us. A minute later Axel Prodfield came storming down the halls of the Rayven guild territory. His Jecket pulled to cover his mouth,his scarf flapping in the wind,his headphones(premium item) bobbing as he stormed and coolest of all his enormous sword on his back.

"Oh hey boss.."I was about to say before he interrupted me.

"What the hell did you guys do?" Axel screamed.

"Well first I woke up then I wen't to the marsh.."

"I'm not talking about that!!" Axel screamed once more. "I got a message in the guild mail yesterday saying that we are stuck in the game!The whole guild!It also said thanks to your friendly guild members in RD1!"

"Umm..sorry"Silver said with an innocent face. "It looks like the virus spread to our guild"she whispered to Pocky.

"And even worse to of our guild members form RD9 died!Explain!" Axel demanded.

"Ok. We wen't on this mission to get points. There was an extra map that we had to download. When we downloaded it we downloaded a virus. The virus made it so we couldn't leave the game. The only way to be free of the virus was by beating Conquers quest. It turns out the virus mustv'e spread to the entire guild. Sucks huh? Oh and even worse if you die in the game you die in real life" I tried to explain as best I could. I could tell by the lack of silence that Axel was furious. I saw his teeth clench.

"I'm sorry. I'm very stressed. So much to take in at once. I mean the Shadow guild came to make me merge guilds with them today but I think they are just trying to destroy us and THIS!Its just too much at once"Axel replied with a sad expression on his face. I just now realized how stressful it was to run a guild. I mean I was on the Council but that was nowhere near the responsibility of leader. I decided to give Axel a break.

"Wait...if the Shadow's came to sign a treaty that must mean that they are...in our walls!!"realized Ariana.

"Oh shit"Axel exclaimed.

"You guys go hire all of the mercenaries you can while I get everyone together in the auditorium. I have to explain the situation to all the other guild mates. If the Shadow's are planning an attack,this is the worst time to receive one"he said as he rushed off.

"Okay...I guess were hiring mercenaries" said Shiriu.

"I have this one friend named Grayson. He's highly skilled and up for grabs lets find him first" suggested Shiriu.

"Lets go" said Silver as we exited the guild base.
