Stuck in a video game

Chap 7: Hard Training

AssasinLord's POV:

We we're doing great! Our guild was already on level 5! Of course it took us some time because we had to not die once but we still did it fairly quickly. We were now on a boss battle. My RD team had beaten level's 2 and 4,RD 1 beat 3(very hard) and RD 7 beat level 1. After we had done our fair share of levels I had trained my RD team,in order to get ready for the boss battle. Me and Carnage worked on sword work,Berserk worked on Berserking and Neymarbling worked on archery. Naruzumaki was not with us anymore though. She filled out her resignation papers the day after the virus hit. Such a shame,she was one of the more skilled on the team. We were a person short but we trained so hard that it did not make a difference.

I walked into our training room. I felt a breeze of air because of the gears and training stuff that was being used. To my left, I saw Berserk smashing through a wall. He looked like he was blowing off some steam so I did not bug him. Carnage was in the far corner was Carnage who was slicing simulated monsters. I hopped through a burning barrel and into a pool to get to him. Right when I got out of the pool a wave of red particles hit me.

"Dangit"said Carnage who had a gaping hole with a sword in it. "I turned the difficulty to impossible,it literally is impossible!" I walked over and pried the sword out and he let out a relived sigh. His health was low so he drank a healing potion.

"Dude,you train waaay to hard" I said with a surprised look.

"I know but that's how you become the best swordsman in the Rayven guild" he replied with a wolfish grin. Carnage sheathed his short swords than sat down in a chair. I did the same only to be interrupted by a dozen arrows flying over my head.

"Sorry about that"apologized Neymarbling from the opposite corner. "I'm using the duplication spell in mid-air,its really hard" I just gave him a wave and that seemed to calm him.

"So,we have the big boss battle today" I said watching Carnage fiddling with the straps of his belt.

"Yup" he replied not even looking up.

"It's going to be different,especially without Naruzumaki" I said with a sigh. Carnage was silent. Ya know,I never know what going on in that head of yours".

"Dude I'm so wired from training that all thats going through my head his:Sword,left cut,right cut,feint,down shift,parallel strike,body slam,feint.."he said while looking up at me with his blood shot eyes. His dark skin had a glow to it because of the lamps.I chuckled. This was a man of grit. He always wanted to do better. He was already better than me and Firestarter(amazing swordsman)at sword fighting.

"Maybe you should take a rest. Ya know..just for one mission. I mean you have been training non-stop for 3 days" I said trying to be empathetic but failing.

He shrugged. "Fine. But don't go treating me special or not'in. I ain't no scaredy cat. Jus this once" he said with a frown.

"Ok,then lets go guys!" I suggested.

"Alright!"said Neymarbling with happiness in his voice as he hopped down from the ceiling.

"They are probably already at the map waiting for everyone to get there,so lets go!" Berserk exclaimed as everyone except for Carnage headed towards the door.

"Bye man" I said as we excited.

"Cya" he replied with disappointed look.

I sighed.

"I wan't more cupcakes!" I ordered my servant.

"Yes ,sir"she replied.
