Chapter 12

I open my eyes to the Sun shining in my face. Its even brighter now. I have to get use to everything heighten. Luckly Bonnie made me a daylight ring so I don't burn up. I crawled out of bed and went downstairs. Elena was making coffee. She turned and smiled at me.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm hungry. I'm ill and everything is weird and strange and I hate it!" I sat at the table.

"Here." She brought over a blood bag. I made a disgusting face at it. But I put the tube in my mouth anyways and drank. I looked at my phone and saw I had a text from earlier. I opened it.

Meet me at the old cemetery after kids leave for school. Dress comfortably :) ~Damon

Really a smiley face? I looked at the time.
"Yall are going to be late if yall don't leave now." I stood up and went upstairs to shower.

After my shower I pulled my hair up in a ponytail. I dressed in yoga pants and a sports bra. I laced my tennis shoes up and left. I drove to the old cemetery to meet Damon. Great he wasn't here. I parked and got out. I walked around calling for him. Then I heard a sloshing noise and a twig snap. I turned my head towards the noise. Then the world moved and I was knocked on the ground. I looked up to see a smiling Damon.

"What the hell dude?"

"Welcome to first day of vampire training. The vampire board has met agreed we will all help out in your training. Board as in Stefan, Elena, Caroline , and yours truly." He helped me up. "First thing is you need to learn how to focus. Like you did good when focusing on the twig snapping but you wasn't focus or fast enough. If you was focused then you would had heard me move closer." He put his hands on my shoulder. He told me to breath slowly and listen to my surrondings. I heard the bird's flying. The squirrels playing and gathering nuts. I even heard a spider crawling. I told him what all I heard. He told me to focus more. I did. I concentrated on everything. I then heard two hikers on the trail. Talking about their kids. I told him and he smiled.

"Very good." We did a few more focus exercises. We then moved on to controlling my strength and speed.

We eventually took a break when it close to school getting out. We sat on a log I moved. He patted my back.

"Good first day student." I laughed.

"Thanks. Your such a wonderful coach." I said sarcastically. We went back to my SUV and I gave him a ride back or rather he drove. We went back to his place. Jeremy was going over to Tyler's and Matt's to study. Elena was meeting us here with Stefan and Caroline. My phone buzzed I open the text.

Wanna meet at the grill later? I want you to meet my husband and daughter. You should bring a date and we could double :) lol ~Sarah

Sure meet you at 6 and I will :)

I turned to Damon and smiled.

"What are you up to? You have an evil grin." He pointed at my smile.

"What are you doing tonight?" He gave me a questionable look. "My friend wants to meet up at the Grill at 6 to meet her husband and baby girl. And I wanted you to come and help me when I struggle." I noticed he was about to say no "Please Damon. Please do it for me your best friend." I walked closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck"Please Damon."

"Fine I'll go." He leaned down to kiss me but I sped off quickly. He then try to chase me. We were running around the house. Till he tackle me into the couch and was tickling me. We was laughing till we heard someone clear their throat. We looked up to a scowling Elena and an amused Stefan and also an amused Caroline. They were trying to fight back their urge to laugh. Elena wasn't amused at all. Just give it up Elena. Damon got off of me and pulled me up. They came in and we started talking. They agreed to be at the grill to help if I needed it. Even Jeremy and Bonnie will be there. I'm so thankful for my support system.

Damon walked me to my SUV. We said out goodbyes. He'll meet me at my house soon. I drove off with Elena so we can go home and get ready for our date. For some reason I was nervous. I guess cause I'll be meeting Sarah's husband.

I ran up to my room and picked out some clothes. I beat Elena to the showers and started washing. I got out and brushed my teeth and went to blow dry my hair in my room. I did my make up after my hair. I picked out a white sleevless shirt. It was higher in the front then the back. My pants were black skinny jeans. I pulled on my black pumps. I was ready to go. I put my jewelry one and sprayed my perfume. I was definitely getting nervous. I heard a vehicle pull up. Then two doors open and close. I can tell by the way they walked they were male. Male vampires. I ran downstairs before they could ring the bell and open it. Stefan and Damon stood on the other side.

"Well dont yall two look dashing." I smiled causing them to smile. I stepped aside to let them in. They were in Stefan's car. I walked over to gather my purse and phone.

"Bye Elena. See you there." I shouted just a little. I followed Damon out to my car. Without him fussing I handed my keys over. He just smirked. We got in and headed towards the grill. He grabbed my hand and lightly squeezed it. I looked over at him and gave him a tiny smile. He could tell I was nervous. I was nervous for different reasons. But I know with him and all my friends and siblings everything is going to be okay.
