Connor sat her down on the couch and hurried to the kitchen.
"Connor this is a dangerous matter." Connors mom walks out the living room to her bedroom, leaving them alone to conversate.
Connor walked back to the couch and handed Sara a cup of water. She snatched it out his hands and swallowed down the water. "Connor answer me."
Connor took in a deep breath and laughed, "Sara. You have the ticket out of here. Me and my mom and my brother don't." He took a long pause, "With my dad busy working, I feel I've become the man of the house protecting them. I will sacrifice my self for them. I will sacrifice my self to be with you. I want the safe life like others even if it means breathing through a mask. Even if it means dying for them. "
