CHAPTER 2

RIGN!
7:45 am
I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing . I press the dismiss button and stand up waking towards my bathroom door with eyes half open then get tripped by bags on the floor . What the ? I thought . Just then I remembered everything that happened ,me moving to Mystic Falls leaving my best friend and home town behind .

Oh my word Maggy I forgot to call her . Maggy is my best friend who I love to bits , she and I became best friends at age 9 when we went to school together . I dropped my lunch and she said she'll share hers with me. She has baby blue eyes and dark black hair pink lips and perfectly tanned skin just like mine , height at a 5'7 where I am a 5'8.

She and I both are the smartest kids in school who are known as very smart yet normal teenagers .
We are not your stereotypical smart girls , we do go out and party , listen to music go crazy about some guys and all that normal teenage stuff although we do love reading , studying and correcting teachers . We have a perfect attendance record and also get straight A's .

We have a really good fashion sense and don't wear glasses.

So yesterday when I got home which was at about 4pm I ran straight to my bedroom to start packing everything up while my mom was down stairs eating her Chinese.

My mom said Chad will be here in the morning at about 8:30 am to help with the wardrobes and cupboards .

I said I'd call Maggy when I was done with my packing but forgot , after getting done at 9: 55 pm I went down stairs to eat my Chinese and went to bed . The moment my face hit that pillow I was out like a light.

Packing really drained me , now I know how my mom felt . I didn't wanna talk to anyone I just wanted to sleep.

I stood up from my big pile of luggage and got into the bathroom , I stripped off my blue laced pajamas and got into the shower. After a fifteen minute shower I brushed my teeth and tied my hair into a loose yet cute bun .

I wore a pair of blue jean shorts , white shirt that I tucked into my shorts with ankle length black 3 inch boots and my golden heart locket , I also put on my watermelon lip ice .

Funny thing my locket has a key sizes hole in it but there's no key , oh well it still looks cute .

When I was ready the time was 8:30 Chad should be here by now .

I went downstairs with some of my luggage in hand , I found no one in the kitchen so I decided to make myself breakfast . I opened the cupbored to find nothing in it.

Ohhh moving day . I thought to myself. I decided to get the rest of my luggage from my room and call Maggy.

"Hey Emie wassup?" Maggie picks up on the second ring.

"Hey Uhm I wanna tell you something .......okay you know what let me just get to the point . " I suck in a deep breath " I'm moving. "

"Where? Why? What?"

"Mystic Falls . Mom got a new job. I'm moving ." I summarised in a calm voice."wanted to call you but was too busy packing and sleeping , oh and I'm leaving in about ten minutes ."I end

"I'm on my way hold on let me just-" she begins but. I cut her off.

"You can't come were leaving like now." I say in a sad voice " I'll miss you so much but don't worry we'll skyp and all that."

"Emily !"Mom calls from outside .

"Oh I gotta go mom's calling mmxwa love you ." I hang up .

I got outside and found my mom and Chad having a conversation with coffee from Ellen's Café in hand .

"Wow guys thanks for the help" I say sarcastically with a fake smile .

"Oh morning sleeping beauty." Chad says coming over to help me with my luggage .

I gave him the bags that we're in my right hand."Thanks" is all I said ignoring his indirect compliment I think you might call it .

"Morning mom , how'd you sleep?" I ask walking towards the car escaping the awkward moment with Chad , I put my luggage in the trunk once I reached it.

"Morning sleepy head , I slept like a baby , you?"Mom asks with a smile

"I honestly don't know once my face hit the pillow I was out like a light" I answered after taking my coffee from my mom's hand . I took a nice long a sip of my warm amazing caffee and looked at my mom.

She was looking at me in this funny was like she was hiding something .

"What?" I ask in an annoyed tone .
I really didn't like what was going on .

"Nothing ." she says still looking at me in that funny way with a tiny smile.

"Then why are you looking at me like that ?"
"M m m " she hums I don't know with a shrug taking a sip from her coffee .

I huff heavily "Than stop." I say getting irritated . I was not in the mood to argue.

"Okay. Gee " she says after gulping down her coffee , hands up in surrender .

I shook my head and got into the car. Mom got into the drivers seat , the moving truck was loaded with our stuff and left two minutes ago. Mom started the engine and we took off .

Goodbye Spring Vill and hello to my doom Mystic Falls .

It's gonna be a really long journey.
