The wedding was beautiful, as was expected.

Seb and Rosalie had hired Penelope as their wedding planner, as her first big job in college. Penny had done a fantastic job, from making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time, and avoiding a flower crisis the morning of, when pink roses were delivered instead of the specified lilies.

The bridesmaids, Maddie, Ginny, Penny, and Audrey, all wore varying shades of blush colored gowns, with their hair up or down.

Sebastian had almost lost his cool at the mere sight of Rosalie walking down the aisle to him. Her red hair was piled into a braid and a low bun, a small crown of flowers atop her head, her face radiant with minimal makeup. She had the string of pearls his mother had given her a few months ago (To welcome you to the family, dear. They can be your something new!), with the accompanying earrings. The lace dress she was wearing took his breath away.

The white lace dress was held together with thin spaghetti straps, the a-neckline gave way to her creamy skin. The back was completely open, teasing him to rest his hand there the entire ceremony.

Later, walking through the streets of the French Quarter, with the umbrella and cane, their friends, family, and strangers dancing with them, Sebastian and Rosalie were blissfully happy. The customary second line tradition of New Orleans was something all locals had participated in at least once, and Seb and Rose were glad that they had introduced it to a few of the guests who were just visiting for the wedding.

Now, at a little restaurant in the Quarter, they were walking onto the makeshift dance floor, about to dance their first dance as husband and wife.

This is my love song to you, let every woman know I'm your's

Having Rosalie in his arms as his wife was the best feeling in the entire world.

She would forever be like this in his mind, bright eyes and hair falling from her braid and her smile that bright.

He held her close to his body, barely room between them, the smell of vanilla, honey, and cinnamon bringing him home.

As the soothing melody of the song continued, Sebastian sang the lyrics in her ear softly, his stubble tickling her, bringing an even softer smile to her red lips.

You're the only one I see, love, and that's the one thing that won't change

/

You are my life, my love, my only

The lyrics of the song matched his feelings exactly, the promises easily falling easily off his lips, the sincerity strong in his voice.

Rosalie couldn't even believe that she was Rosalie Lilian Carter. She had dreamed of it for a while now, but actually having Carter as her legal last name... it just felt right.

Sebastian had looked so handsome, when she was walking down that isle to him. His crisp black tux paired with his white shirt and navy tie complimented everything about him. His vows made tears fall down her face, and her smile hadn't dropped since she woke that morning around five.

Being in his arms now, as he sang the words to the song softly in her ear, Rosalie had never been happier.

New Orleans had been their individual home, and now it was their home together. A few months earlier, Seb had surprised her with a key to a home just outside of the Quarter. It was beautiful, a long driveway, trees lining the way. The home itself had a beautiful front garden full of white and red roses. The porch had rocking chairs and a swing, and the door was painted a brilliant navy. Inside, there was a modern updated kitchen, with a nook overlooking the backyard. There was even a small circular table in the dining room, a living room, three bedrooms, and more.

Rosalie loved the house. From the moment she saw it, she knew that she'd love it, without even seeing anything in it. Seb had given her free reign on the house, and she had been decorating it in her free time between work and helping Penny plan the wedding. She had finished everything last week.

After their four-week honeymoon touring some of their favorite vacation spots—Maui, Barcelona, Zurich, and Crete—they would be coming to the home they had both built, where she just knew that they'd live in for the rest of their lives.

As she continued to dance in her lover's arms, Rosalie realized that New Orleans wasn't her home anymore—Sebastian Carter was her home, and he had been for a while now. He was where she could breathe easy, and smile wide, without a care in the world.

He was her life, her love, her only
