“You did what?” Harry asked over breakfast the next morning, chewing slowly on his cheerios and savoring Louis’ warm grip on his knee, underneath the table.

A late night conversation, on the rock Louis had taken him to in the deserted Disney World, had led to an agreement that for now, their relationship was to be a secret. He didn’t want to hurt Eleanor anymore, and to be honest, Harry wasn’t sure he wanted the wrath of Eleanor.

“I demoted myself,” Niall replied through a mouthful of pancakes, waving his fork in the air and nailing Liam on the face with a glob of syrup. ”Oh, sorry,” he said, kissing the syrup off of Liam’s face, leaving even more of a mess.

Liam rolled his eyes and blushed, reaching for a napkin, while Niall turned back to his food obliviously.

“You quit?” Harry emphasized gain, trying to get Niall back on track, and Niall sighed, setting his fork aside.

“Of course I didn’t quit. The food here is too good. No, but when I heard the shit you pulled-“

“Why’d you quit anyways?” Liam interrupted, taking a sip of his tea and looking at Harry quizzically.

Harry lowered his eyes to his plate and shrugged, “Personal reason?” he said quietly, and held his breath, glancing at Liam to see if he’d accept his poor excuse. But thankfully Liam was perfect, in everyway, and nodded, leaving Harry his privacy.

“What personal reasons-“

“Niall,” Liam hissed and Niall sighed, shoving another forkful of pancakes into his mouth.

“Alright, alright,” Niall talked around a mouthful of food, “Anyways. When I heard you were coming back, but as Dale, I figured you might as well have your original Chip. Instead of that blonde prick who was playing him. Everyone wins; besides, I wasn’t made to be royalty. I don’t have that ‘Prince’ quality. Liam on the other hand-“

“Thanks babe,” Liam muttered, blush creeping back up his neck as he ducked his head and Harry smiled, turning to Louis who was staring thoughtfully at his tea.

“You alright there?” Harry asked and Louis lifted his head and grinned, squeezing Harry’s knee secretly under the table.

“Yeah, just thinking,” he said, leaning back in his seat and looking around the cafeteria, “You know, they say they’re going to reach an agreement with the strikers soon.”

The table fell silent, and Niall and Liam’s faces turned grim. Once a settlement was agreed, the original workers would come back, and Harry and Niall and Liam and Zayn and Louis, they’d all be separated, force to return home to lives that didn’t include each other.

“They’ve been saying that for ages,” Liam muttered, ever the optimistic one and Louis shrugged, taking a sip of his coffee.

“Hopefully they’ll hold off another week, my Mum’s bringing the girls over for Holiday. They’ve never been to Disney World,” Louis said and Harry smiled, remembering how enthusiastic Louis’ younger sister had sounded over the phone when discussing Disney World.

The perfect age to indulge in Disney Magic.

“Fuckers,” Zayn suddenly greeted, sauntering over to the table, running a hand through his messy hair, “We’re going to be late.”

Harry glanced at his watch and groaned, his knee turning cold as Louis’ warm grip left him.

“Hey, tonight’s the last Sunday of the month,” Louis said, as he glanced at his own watch, and Niall let out a soft cheer, the other boys breaking out into smiles.
