"Connor, move over! I swear to God." Troye Sivan groaned at the blonde haired male who was lying across two bus seats.

I rolled my eyes and sat down in an empty seat, plugging my headphones in and allowing Muse to blast through them. Then, I felt a finger tap my shoulder.

I unhooked one of my headphones and turned to look at the unknown girl sitting next to me. She had long, blonde, curly hair with chocolate brown eyes, much like my own. She was a very pretty girl, I couldn't deny that.

"I like your music." She complemented me.

"Oh shit," I breathed awkwardly, "You can hear that?"

"Yup," She laughed at the look on my face. "I'm pretty sure the entire bus can, you're seriously going to blow your ear drums, or go deaf when you're older."

I shrugged, "I'll worry about it when I'm old."

"I'm Carrie, I'm new," She smiled sweetly again. "I don't really know anyone, I moved from Manchester."

I smiled back, that's probably why I didn't know who she was, because our school wasn't overly big, it's not hard to remember faces even though you might not know their names.

"I'm Dan Howell," I grinned. "I'm not new." The terrible joke fell out of my mouth before I could stop it.

Carrie laughed, covering her mouth, "That joke was so bad."

"I know," I agreed, laughing as well. "But that's what makes it funny!"

We continued to have quality banter about bad jokes until we arrived at school.

-

"Dan!" Zoe squealed as I got off the bus, Carrie walking behind me. She ran up to me and threw her arms around my neck and I spun her around. Ironically.

"I only saw you yesterday, Zo," I laughed, putting her down. "You're a clingy girlfriend."

"Yeah totally," She joked along with me. "Who's this?" Zoe asked, gesturing to Carrie who was standing awkwardly beside me.

"Oh, Zoe this is Carrie, I met her on the bus this morning, she's knew to Berkshire." I smiled at her.

"Nice to meet you." Carrie smiled politely.

"And you." Zoe smiled back. I bet to anyone else looking, I'd look like a chick magnet, but little did they know I'd already come to terms with the fact I was gay, not that anyone other than Zoe knew anyway.

I glanced out at the school carpark, and I noticed a black car with tinted windows that I hadn't seen before. I also noticed there was someone sitting in there, I couldn't make out facial features, but I noticed ebony hair and dark glasses. The person sitting inside seemed to have caught on that I was looking, and quickly sped away. I furrowed my eyebrows together.

"Carrie, Zoe, did you guys see that black car?" I asked the girls nervously.

"No." They said in union.

I wouldn't have minded a black car if it didn't suddenly pull out when it caught me looking.

"It was probably just some dad dropping their kid off, don't worry Dan." Carrie reassured me, putting her hand on my shoulder as if I was crazy. That stirred up a little anger deep in my stomach, but I suppressed it.

-

"Hey Dan," Alfie jabbed his finger into my shoulder repetitively in first period, History.

"What Alfie?" I snapped.

"What's the answer?" He chuckled.

"We'll maybe if you listened, you'd know the answer." I growled.

"What crawled up your pants?" Alfie groaned.

"Zoe." I said to piss him off. Before I could comprehend what was happening, he punched me square in the jaw sending me flying off my chair.

"What on Earth?" The teacher yelled. Alfie got up and stood over me, ready to punch me again, but Zoe stepped in front of me.

"What the fuck Alfie?" Zoe screamed.

Alfie's facial features softened, he looked almost ashamed.

That's right bitch, feel bad you punched your crush's best friend, she'll never like you now.

"Howell! Deyes! In my office now." The Principal's voice boomed from across the room.

I groaned and stood up, rubbing my jaw.

"That hurt, Deyes." I whispered to him quietly as we crossed the room.

"Good," Alfie growled under his breath. "It was supposed to."

God, why did he have to get me in trouble? I loved history, just not him obviously.

-

"What on Earth provoked you to hit Daniel?" The Principal quizzed Alfie as we were both sitting across from him in his office, arms crossed and scowls on our face.

Alfie's face flushed red and it looked like he wasn't going to reply, so I did for him.

"I joked about banging a girl he fancies." I said, trying to hold back my laughter.

Judging by the look on the Principal's face, it looks like he was trying to hold back his too.

"Is this true?" He asked.

Alfie's face darkened more red than it was before.

"I should suspend you both," He said. My stomach churned with nerves, the last thing I needed was to be suspended mid term. "But I won't, regarding the situation. Apologise to each other, in front of me." He scowled at both of us.

"Sorry, Daniel." Alfie said in a high pitched voice.

"Sorry, Deyes." I said, my voice hardening.

"I'll be calling your parents." He said quietly as we got up to exit the room.

I shrugged, I knew my mum would laugh her head off when I told her.

-

This is a bit of a filler, not my best work sorry.
