Who is Ghandi

To kids these days

Old man with

His old man wrinkles

Carved into his face like

Objects leave imprints in sand

Though knives haven’t

Carved his old man wrinkles but

Years of experience and

the change he’s seen in himself

to create change in the world

with words of wisdom

dousing our brains with

 hope alcohol can’t treat

with its death-rate stench

change leaves us with our faith

of love

of blissful intoxication

Ecstasy not found in pill or powder-form

A touch of awareness

Will not render the others

Keen to what you see

Blindness

Like judgment or sin

Cannot be washed away

That’s not what tides are for

Hark on the journey to warmth

With lightness in your heart

Or the hardness that will always be

Because even if your world has stopped or started spinning

You’re the only person

that can see what you see

You've reached the end of published parts.
