Amelia Pond watched The Doctor curiously as he ran around the TARDIS console.
He pulled switches, pressed buttons and typed in codes.

The Doctor seemed like a very excited child at Christmas as he flew the time machine.

It was always like this. Amy watched, The Doctor flew the ship.

The TimeLord would hate anything to change, sadly he couldn't stop her from growing up.
So he always ran to her before it was too late.

After all, The Doctor did say he would be five minutes.
This is way of making up for being late. His way of saying sorry to the girl who waited.
She travelled with him, along with her husband Rory Williams.
Who could ask for anything more?

Everything was great for now.
The golden trio on adventures saving the world.

The TARDIS stopped with a jerk, Amy falling of the seat onto Rory, The Doctor being flung to the side, the force causing him to crash into the railway, knocking the air out of his lungs.

The three moaned, getting up slowly, Rory had landed on his tailbone, The Doctor being stolen of breath and Amy was fine, who had landed (as mentioned before) on Rory, although she did seem a bit grumpy considering her hair and clothes were now disgruntled.

"Well, a bit unexpected! Im sure the TARDIS decided it would be best for us to land here, right you two. I will pop out there quickly, I'll be back before you can say jammy dodgers!" The Doctor shouts this to the couple before opening the TARDIS door.

He lets out a shout of surprise as he took a step out, finding out quickly that there was no ground beneath him.
Amy and Rory ran over, grabbing The Doctors sleeve as he tipped outwards of the TARDIS.

"Doctor!" Amy's Scottish voice called out "Didn't anyone ever tell you to look before you walk!"
With some difficulty the Ponds managed to pull the Doctor back inside.

"Well yes... No... Maybe... I never listened to the Professor at university... He use to whack my ears, wasn't a very nice fellow." The Doctor scratched the nape of his neck as he said this, seeming to be pulled into a memory, one of the many he had left of his lost home, Gallifrey.

"Uh... Doctor, where are we if by that accident before if this, by chance wasn't the destination you had in mind. My tailbone hurts like hell if any one was wondering also." Rory said, rubbing the bottom of his back in attempt to ease the aching pain.

The Doctor is pulled out of his train of thought "Ah! Yes, hold on!" He leans out the door, sticking his finger in his mouth and raising it high to test the wind.
"It seems we are at Acopolloruptys, lovely planet, very dry though, lots of deep canyons in the Ground of the planet though. It seems we are floating above one, but that's fine! We can always get some rope and pull the TARDIS to the edge so we can get out easily! It'll be a piece of cherry pie topped with corn flakes! Weird combination?" He didn't wait for the two to reply.
"Yeah, I thought so too. Right, II'll grab some rope and you can stand aside and be amazed!"

He runs down a corridor, leaving the two Ponds a little dumbstruck.

It seems The Doctor is feeling a tad independent today.
Today will be a long day
