Author's Note:

Hello everyone! I know my notes are usually at the end of a chapter, but I wanted to explain some things before you start reading this. First though, I have to give a shout out to the wonderful rxwena for encouraging me to post this. She's amazing, and possibly the biggest Addie/Victor fan I know (besides myself, of course ;p). Huge thanks to her for her suggestions and for letting me bounce ideas off her :)

This story was inspired by the basic question of "What if?" As in what if Addie hadn't spent the next fifteen years after "Traitor" at the school? And what if Logan hadn't lost his memory? I started it because I'd hit a dry spell on "Secrets", and was desperate to explore Addie and Victor as a couple. Therefore, be forewarned that this story may go off track from the movies/comics. It was created to go beyond the realm of normal possibilities-anything can happen.

Finally, this was originally written as a set of scenarios in Addie and Victor's new life. Some of them were written in Victor's POV, and each one has its own adventure to it. I've decided to keep them that way, with little edits to make them all flow together. However, because of the alternating viewpoints and different adventures, I have decided to title each chapter; so that you all know when a new scenario is beginning, and so you won't be thrown off.

Alright I'm done. Enjoy!

"You plan on telling me why you're here?" Bradley asks, looking me over curiously. I nod slowly. "Wade's gone, Chris."

I watch the color drain from his face. He swallows, and suddenly becomes very serious. "When?"

"I-I don't know . . . But I know Victor did it . . . I'm here to warn you."

"Warn me about what, Addie?" Before I can answer, there's a knock on the door. I freeze. Bradley looks at me and swallows again, then tells the knock that the show is over. My eyes stay glued to the door as my heart begins pounding in my ears. It can only be one person, and he's not here for the show.

Another knock sounds from the door and Bradley gets up with another glance at me. He reaches for the handle and I jump up. "Bradley, don't-"

The door is open before I can finish. "Show's never over for us Bradley." Victor says from the doorway. He almost blends in with the night in his black clothes and trademark trench coat. I fall back onto the couch shakily as Bradley invites Victor in. Victor looks at me as if he's just now noticing my presence. He smiles, revealing his fangs, then looks at Bradley. "Addie, would you mind stepping outside while Bradley and I talk?"

"Yes I mind," I say, finding my courage and standing on the couch. The furniture gives me added height-I am standing eye-level with Victor. He gives me a dangerous look before shrugging. "Suit yourself."

He takes a step towards Bradley, who has been watching everything silently, but I grab his arm.

"Victor," I plead, quietly begging him not to carry out this mission. He looks at me with dark eyes, and I refuse the urge to look away. Something in him falters momentarily, but I can't tell what it is. He looks down and curses under his breath; I begin to relax, thinking I've won. Then he looks back at me and I know I've lost.
