Pentatonix: Kavi

Avi Kaplan you know, right? The popular, kind, bass of Mt. Juliet High... That the new girl doesn't know... Kirstin Maldonado senior from Texas. Shy, nerdy, choir girl.

Kirstie walked swiftly towards the direction the secretary pointed.
Locker 1992, should be simple the year I was born. She twisted it a couple times to clear it. 5-16-19. She tried multiple times, and still no luck.

"Need help there?" A brunette quipped. "Please." She moved aside for the boy to fix it. "I'm Mitch!" He said cheerfully. He continued, "And you are??" She wasn't used to people asking her questions.

"I-I um...Kirstie." He smiles, "Bit shy are we now? Don't worry, here." He pointed to open locker. "Thanks." She stuffed her books in her locker.
"Mmm." Mitch sighed as a group of boys walked by. "What?" Kirstie asked oblivious to the people who passed. "Oh it's just the basketball team..." He blushed. "Who's the guy?" "Your okay with your friends being gay?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" He shrugged, "It's Tennessee, you know those hard core Christians that hate people like me." She sighed, "I may be from Texas but, I can't judge people. That's my grandparents not me." She explained.

"Oh you see the really tall blond one." He whispered. She nodded, "That's Scott, he's a baritone in my choir class." She gasped and pulled out her schedule. "When do have it Kit Kat?" She raised her brow, "Kit Kat? I like it...I have it 6th."

"Yay!" He almost squealed, "We have it with Sco-" the bell interrupted their conversation. "Let mamma look at your schedule." He sassed. "So we have first, fourth, six and seventh together." He informed her. "Come on!" He dragged her along, pushing up her glasses she followed.

"Ok girl, to choir we go." Mitch announced. "So...You know Avi Kaplan right?" He asked her quietly. She shook her head. "He's that guy you heard laughing at lunch with that cellist Kevin. He recently broke up, so maybe..." He bounced his eyebrows. "Nah, but that guy Jeremy seemed pretty nice." She whispered back. Not letting one in the halls hear them. A look of discomfort came over his face, "He has a girlfriend, and he's not the nicest football player you'll meet." She raised a questioning eyebrow at him. She was about to ask until she had to follow him into the class. "Miss...Kirstie Maldonado, how nice of you to join us from... Texas." Mr. Chambers said. She nodded. "Your teacher has sent me an email saying that you can be a tenor, which only has Alex, Jessica, and Mitch. Would you like to join them?" She walked with Mitch to where he sat. "Now, Show Choir auditions are this Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, the song and choreography will be on my page...Mr. Kaplan do I bore you?" The teacher snapped. The boy in the bass section turned bright red, "Uh...No sir." Mr.Chambers raised an eyebrow, "Or our new student has seemed to have you in a trance. Which one would it be Avriel?" The class snickered. The beanie on his head was close to matching the color of his face, as well as Kirstie's.

The teacher smirked and went back to teaching about beats, something Kirstie learned in 5th grade. "Pick your partner, work together on classifying the notes to our music." He instructed. Avi's emerald eyes immediately were drawn to Kirstie's brown ones. He shrugged his shoulders basically asking her to be his partner. She blushed looking for Mitch... Already flirting with Scott, they seem cute together. She picked up her binder and made her way over to him. "Uh, hi I'm Avi." He put his hand out. You could almost hear the rumbles in his chest from his voice. "Hi I'm Kirstie, as you probably know." She blushed. "Well, this should be interesting." He mumbled.

They were the first ones finished followed my Mitch and Scott... How about Scömiche? Then Avi's friend along with a girl named Tori Kelly.
