***Lucas' POV***
I stared out the window and into the backyard, which was also flooded with people, although not as many. I watched as people drank and danced, jumped and screamed, it looked like there were a lot of people having good fun.
That's when I saw a bouncy little pirate-girl sitting on the swing and almost falling backward as it swayed. "Since when does Holly not dance at a party," I ask myself. I shrug and pull the door open, revealing Jasmine and Lilly, Lilly slipping her shirt back on. "What the hell?"
"When did you come up here," Jasmine asks. Lilly looked drunk out of her mind as she swayed and bumped against the wall.
"I've been up here for quite a while actually. I figured it was some drunken couple in that room," I smirk. "I guess that 'drunken couple' was you guys?"
"You know it," Lilly pipes up, her words slurring a bit. She holds a finger up to her lips with a laugh. "Shh, don't let Caleb know." She lets out a light giggle and Jasmine shakes her head.
"It's nothing serious, Lucas," she says timidly. "Just a one time thing. I'd really appreciate it if you kept this between us."
"I can't make any promises," I mumble. "You know I'm bad with secrets."
"Fine, just make sure you keep your trap shut as tight as you actually can," she sighs. "I don't want everybody to know just yet." Her fingers tangle with Lilly's and she leans down, planting a soft kiss on her lips.
"Whatever," I say, breaking their little moment. "I just ask of you one thing. Please don't do these things in front of me." Jasmine lets out a light laugh and punches me in the arm.
"I'll make sure we make out right next to you next time." This sends all 3 of us into a fit of laughter.
"I'm going to go find Holly," I say, pulling myself from the slightly awkward conversation. I can hear them talking behind me as I trot down the stairs. I move through the middle of the room, through the horde of dancing people. I find the table with all the drinks and grab a cup myself.
Can't hurt to have a single drink. Truth be told I had no idea what was in the cup. I lift the cup up to my lips and take a long drink. Whatever it was burned my throat. God this is disgusting, I thought just before taking another drink.
I find the backdoor and walk out to the swing where I saw Holly earlier.
"Lucas," she says, standing up from the swing. As she stood up she wobbled on her feet. I hurry over to her to make sure she doesn't take a tumble.
"Holly, what are you doing out here all by yourself," I ask. "I figured you'd be inside dancing."
"I got tired," she shrugs. She wraps her arms around my neck and presses her lips against mine. I pull away quickly, leaving her pouting and looking up at me sadly. "No Halloween kisses?"
"Let's get you home before something happens to you," I say, ignoring the question. "It's getting pretty late anyway." It was nearly midnight already. I hold an arm around her waist to keep her steady, her arm wrapped around my shoulder.
"Where are we going, Lukey," she smiles. "Are we going somewhere fun?"
"We're going back to my house, my parents went out so there'll be nobody there to see you like this."
She doesn't respond, instead she just props her head against my shoulder as we walk back to the house. As we walk I feel almost like something is following us. I shrug off the feeling and keep walking, although I really just want to hurry up and get Holly somewhere safer.
We're nearly to my street when I hear somebody call out. "Lucas." It was a deep, man's voice.
I turn to look behind me and I see a rather shadowy figure standing no more than two feet from us. "Who are you," I ask, pushing Holly behind me as I take a few steps back.
"My name's not important, I have something important to tell you though."
"I don't care," I snap, turning away and pushing Holly further away from the man. I don't hear anything but I feel a knife graze my skin and stop at the center of my throat. I hear Holly scream and the man punches her in the side of the head with his free hand. I hear her hit the ground and before I can make even a slight sound my mouth is stuffed with a rag.
The man binds my hands and wraps a blindfold around my eyes. I hear him moving Holly in some way, then there's more silence.
"Come with me," he snaps, gripping me by my upper arm. I follow him out of fear of what would happen if I didn't. I pull lightly against the ropes that bind my wrists. Damn these are tight, I thought to myself. "Keep walking, Lucas." I manage to push the rag out of my mouth enough to speak.
"Where are you taking me?" I clench my fists as I trip over a curb. The man shoves the rag back into my mouth and pushes me ahead.
"Just get in the car," the man snaps, shoving me into a car that stinks of something like cat piss and puke. I slam my head against the frame of the car as I'm pushed inside. I hear something thump down next to me. Holly. She's here too, he brought her into this.
I feel something sharp press onto my wrist and I shift until I feel something pressing against the ropes. The car rumbles to life and shoots away as I shift my arms slowly until I feel my bindings start to pull apart.
I hold my arms into the same position until I feel the car screech to a stop. We couldn't have went that far, it's only been a few minutes. I hear a couple doors swing open and then I feel my door pulled from under my shoulder.
"Outta the car," he growls, pulling me out by the arm. He pulls me down what feels like a driveway. I try my hardest to keep my arms together as the man pulls them and forces me to walk. "Don't hit your head," he grumbles, forcing my head down a bit. I could feel his heavy breath on my cheek as we walked.
After several more steps My arm is released and I hear a door slam and his footsteps hurry away. Once I'm sure he's gone I reach up and pull my blindfold off. I'm greeted by a nice little bed with several blankets piled on it. I look around the small room and see a camera in the corner of the room.
Is he really watching my through this? I wrap the camera in the blindfold and sit down on the bed. I swear if he does anything to Holly I'm gonna-
"How the hell did you get unbound," the man snarls. He punches me square in the jaw, knocking my back against the wall. I sit up as fast as I can get my bearings and swing at his side. He grabs my wrist and pulls me to my feet.
"What the hell do you want with me," I growl. He spins me around quickly and knees me in the back, forcing my onto the bed. He uses a rope to tie my hands behind me and he pulls my up by my short hair.
"All will be revealed in time, Lucas," the man says. He kicks me once more in the leg and turns to the camera. He pulls the blindfold off of it and drapes it over his hand.
"At least tell me who you are," I beg. "And what you did with Holly."
"The name's Jacob," the man says. "It's been a long time, brother."
